Our first decor designer was very nice and we have paid some of the rentals we were sure to purchase so we could bring them to a sight visit to our venue in order to make decisions on other decors to rent. Unfortunately our former designer has quit her job and FOS assigned another designer for us. AND THIS IS WHERE EVERYTHING BEGINS!! This designer is always very late to reply our emails when we were trying to confirm a site visit date with him, I was being extremely patient with him but I really wanted to book a site visit date asap before fall kicks in, and it really doesn't help when he does not reply emails! I have sent him 2 emails confirming date, no response, then calling and asking the receptionist ask him to reply my email (he was in meeting), but still no response. When I was very upset emailing him the third time asking if FOS is still available to provide us with decor rental service, he finally replied with one simple sentence: I am available on that date. Without an apology, without a "hello" or "hi", even without a name at the end of the email, only one sentence. I was trying to be nice and have said nothing but replying him with the address and a "Thank you" at the end. HOWEVER, HE DID NOT SHOW UP ON THE SITE VISIT! We live in Toronto and our venue is in Cambridge, my fiance took half day off, we drove all the way to Cambridge for nothing. I didn't even get to talk to our designer when I was calling asking where he was, the receptionist told me that there is no site visit booked for him on this date and after she confirming with him, she told me that he thought it's another date. After all of these unbelievable disasters, THAT'S NOT ALL. I asked to speak with a manager, the receptionist told me that no manager was available and will call me back next day. All this happened on a Thursday, then nobody called me on Friday, I had to call them asking if I can speak to a manager, but NO. Then I asked for a refund for the initial purchases we have made, because obviously I can't trust these people to manage my bid day!! The receptionist told me that their CEO deals with all the refund and will call me on Monday, but then no one called. It is extremely ridiculous of how they treat their customers while they work under a service sector. I am still waiting for them to get back to me, this is what they do. I really ask everyone to take my experience into consideration before booking anything with them.
