They had a civil war reenactment going on so the kids had to solve the clues. Had a lot of fun, learned a lot.Tried the beer tasting. Was definitely an interesting experience. Overall a great experience. We will be back for sure. We were also told that they do a Victorian era event in the winter. Looking forward to that!

My family and I love coming here. My daughter (2 yr old) can run around safely to her heart's content, pet the goats and gaze at the sheep. All the while, my husband and I get to enjoy the peacefulness of the grounds and the rich history of the architecture.

Really nice place with a lot of history. Well organized offers entertainment for the entire family. Being a village theres a lot of walking outside so you have to dress for the weather. We enjoyed the gallery which is air conditioned and then visited different houses, each providing a bit of insight. There are washrooms and facilities for babies. The parking lot is ample and you get friendly service through the place. We would love to come back and do another beer tasting at the local nano brewery.

This is an interesting place for kids and adults alike! They offer visitors a chance to experience what life was like in the days of the early settlers. Black Creek is a working village with everything from discovery stations to meeting spaces to horse drawn carriage rides and farmyard animals friends. With lots to explore this place is well worth a trip with the kids or on a date. The gift shop has many interesting items made from local Canadian artists/companies. Parking is $7/car/day and admission can add up ($15/adult and $11/child ages 5 and up). Consider checking it out during the Doors Open Toronto event in May when admission is free for all.

The Pavilion is perfect for a semi-outdoor event! I always love attending events here and I even chose this venue for my wedding. It really is a lovely venue.

Having an outdoor event is always nice and even more so when you are surrounded by heritage homes and old time structures. There is a charm in holding one's event at Black Creek Pioneer Village, and even more so if you love animals. :) It's a lovely venue.

We loved being part of the unique culinary and heritage experience celebrating local food, businesses and history at Black Creek’s Local Food Festival!

Seeing the heritage educators demonstrating how rural families in the 19th century made a product similar to ours and how they prepared for the harvest was an awesome experience.

We're looking forward to being at Black Creek Pioneer Village time and time again.
