Karla and Kevin’s wedding at Evergreen Brick Works is the perfect example of a chic, modern garden party. Karla wanted to keep things simple for her big day but didn’t want the venue to feel sparse.
From the Bride:Â I have a pretty strict design aesthetic (and Kevin is easy going!), so the vision for the style and colour scheme came easily. We had the beautiful surroundings of the Brickworks and the lovely summer light working for us, so we thought everything else should be kept simple.Â
With the help of planner Lu Parkinson, she accomplished her dream wedding by keeping the palette neutral while incorporating different textures and finishes, all of which allowed the architecture and natural elements of the venue shine through. The couple’s sweet outdoor ceremony was beautifully decorated with lush florals by Sweet Woodruff which were accented by lovely rays of sunshine.
The newlyweds’ reception was the epitome of sophistication and simplicity.
