Event planners across the city were giddy to check out Toronto’s\u00a0newest coffee-house-turned-event-space, Propeller Coffee Co.<\/a>.\u00a0With its\u00a0high ceilings, massive west-facing windows, exposed white brick and wood columns,\u00a0Propeller offers 2,600 sqft of event space that is just brimming with all the charms you’d expect from\u00a0the Bloordale\/Junction Triangle neighborhood.<\/p>

Hosted and coordinated by the\u00a0good folks at\u00a0The Food Dudes,\u00a0the\u00a0evening encompassed all the elements\u00a0of an uber successful venue\u00a0launch: piles\u00a0of catering from the aforementioned as well as Beretta Kitchen<\/a>, Victor Dries Curated Events<\/a>, and Parts and Labour Catering & Events<\/a>; rentals by Higgins Event Rentals<\/a>; decor by Marla Brown Designs<\/em>; and dessert by Glory Hole Donuts<\/a>. \u00a0The flow of the evening was perfect and guests were buzzing with excitement\u00a0–\u00a0certainly, this was not an event to be missed!<\/p>

Events Director\u00a0and designer of the Propeller space, Kristi Tethong tells us: \u00a0“We have tried to respect the industrial feel of the old Rolled Metal Products Factory the space\u00a0once was.\u00a0At the same time,\u00a0the polished concrete floors and white exposed brick bring an elegance worthy of the weddings, dinner clubs, private parties and arts events we host.<\/em>” \u00a0The space was built to be\u00a0as eco-friendly and accessible as possible. As such,\u00a0the event space is bullfrog powered and fully\u00a0wheelchair accessible.<\/p>

With food stations and passed hors d’oeuvres aplenty, there was certainly no shortage of\u00a0mouth watering\u00a0items to sample. Preserving our journalistic integrity, we felt it only fitting to try one (or two) of everything.<\/p>

Oh we’re not done yet! A\u00a0tequila bar, Amsterdam Beer, and various\u00a0wines\u00a0are always a welcomed addition to any party. Did we mention there was more food?<\/p>
