The Wedding Planners Institute of Canada<\/em> held its annual kick off event at The Forth<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>this past Friday. Each year, the WPIC puts together a fantastic themed event for its network of wedding and event professionals\u00a0as an energizing and motivating start to wedding season.<\/p>

This year’s theme was #ClubWPIC\u00a0–\u00a0a 1940s-style speakeasy! The Forth provided the perfect backdrop with attendees enjoying live music, delicious fare, and prizes for best dressed! Thankfully, Take 1 Photography<\/a> was on hand to capture all the stylish details!<\/p>

One of our favourite parts of any event is, of course, the food! The Forth provided mouth-watering appetizers, like arancini bites, traditional spanakopita, and warm chicken skewers! Dinner was served beautifully and finished with a choice of chocolate and vanilla-whipped mousse or tasty sorbet topped with garden-fresh fruit.<\/p>

Any wedding planner will tell you that entertainment is of critical importance to any event. Fortunately, with a talented team of planners putting together an event\u00a0for<\/em> planners, the entertainment is guaranteed to be a hit! Our friends at Brent Miller LIVE<\/a> wowed the crowd with live music throughout dinner, playing favourites from every genre in their signature style. We loved the addition of the hilarious comedians from Yuk Yuk's<\/a>, who kept the crowd roaring with topical humour during dinner.<\/p>
