Even before COVID-19 came to town, wedding planning has always been pretty dang stressful. For 2020, couples and vendors alike have adjusted by embracing intimate weddings<\/a>, reduced numbers, postponements and a whole lot of patience. But the world keeps turning and – as they say – the show must go on!<\/p>\n

My biggest piece of advice to couples who are planning their wedding in the midst of this pandemic is to remember what a wedding is really about, and to plan accordingly. We executed over 30 events in 2020 and not one of our clients felt that they missed out. In fact, they felt that this was the wedding they actually always wanted. So, how do you move forward?<\/p>\n

  1. Book vendors with a small guest count, with the option to increase if permitted to do so. This is the safest way to plan moving forward, while securing the best vendors.<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n
  2. Understand each vendors' COVID-19 policy and make sure you are comfortable.<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. Have an A, B and C plan and be 100% OK with each outcome.<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n
  4. Plan with purpose! Be specific and detailed with each scenario that might arise and be sure to have a plan! There are so many ways to get creative in this department!<\/em><\/strong><\/p><\/div><\/div>
