So, even if the ink is barely dry on their divorce papers, this can come across as insensitive. Remember, in Canada, you have to be separated for a year before a divorce can be official \u2013 so questioning the timing of your friends marriage can come across as insensitive. <\/span><\/p> <h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"3_Youre_not_having_a_big_wedding_right\"><\/span>3. You\u2019re not having a big wedding right?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2> <p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To make one thing clear \u2013 assuming that your friend is going to have a small wedding simply because they have been married before is insensitive.
