Keep in mind, though, if you want to preserve your flowers, it’s important to decide what’s the most practical way that they can easily work in your home. This way you’ll be able to really enjoy them for years to come (and risk not throwing them out after the novelty has worn off). You can purchase a floral press kit to help you press the flowers or you can place them between waxed paper and press them with a thick, heavy object, like a book, that will put enough weight on the flowers to press them flat. Leave them to dry for about a week. If they’re not completely dry, then re-press them before leaving them to dry for another week.
