Dr Dave The Drummer

Dr. Dave has entertained at a reception following our most recent shareholder annual meeting and also at our seasonal party for staff, investors, and industry professionals held late last month.  The band’s seamless execution at the first event affirmed the skill of Dr. Dave both as an impresario and a performer.  The fact that a repeat performance was desired speaks volumes about the reception and perceptions of the audience and of the hosts.  The setting, attendees and mood were different among the respective events and Dr. Dave, as a meticulously organized and consummate professional, selected the appropriate musicians to define the mood of each party. Leading up to both evenings little was said about the selections or the desired music, Dr. Dave sensed what would work and boy did it ever! 
 
At the annual meeting, held at a suburban country club on the summer solstice, the band was charged with the task of providing a distraction and muted excitement and was not intended to be and did not act as the focal point of the evening allowing for considerable opportunity for interpersonal interaction in keeping with the purpose of an annual meeting.  At the most recent seasonal party, a purely social function set in a hip urban club, the music created a sophisticated jazzy vibe that in the words of the host “made the party”. You know the entertainment gets it right when the hosts have a great time.  Here too the music defined the evening and even after three sets the band had the audience longing for a fourth.
 
We are already planning our next event with Dr. Dave and so should you!

We had the pleasure of listening to this band at a recent office Christmas party. The music was wonderful and relaxing while we conversed and caught up with fellow guests. The band members are extremely talented. We would highly recommend them for any venue.

We hired David and his band for our company’s Holiday Party 2022. They did not disappoint. They were very well organized and set themselves up well before any of our guests arrived. They played a beautiful Jazz set list for 4 hours! I would highly recommend them for their professionalism, organization and sheer talent. Thanks again David!

Where do I start? The musicians are incredibly talented, sophisticated in their knowledge of sound and above all know how to read a crowd and entertain. I have listened to the band on multiple occasions in various settings and honestly each time it gets better. Typically one chooses the appropriate music to match the mood of an event but in this case, the band sets the mood for the occasion through their uplifting notes. I would not hesitate to recommend these talented musicians to anyone and look forward to their growth and success.

I had the great pleasure of hearing Organyzed play at a benefit show at the Windsor Arms Hotel in Toronto in January, 2020. What an amazing group of musicians! A sophisticated jazz band, playing a combination of original songs and interesting renditions of well-known jazz standards, Organyzed put on a most classy and entertaining evening. Guests were fully engaged in the music through the night, while also being able to carry on a conversation – I can’t think of a better way to enjoy the evening. As a professional event planner in Toronto, I look forward to hiring Organyzed for my next corporate or social reception or fundraiser, and would highly recommend them for any special occasion.
