Located in the heart of downtown Toronto, the Sony Centre is an integral part of this city's cultural sector, making it an exciting spot to host your colleagues, co-workers, family and friends. Originally known as the O'Keefe Centre and then later as the Hummingbird Centre, the Sony Centre is a venue that will exceed your guests' expectations. The fifty-year old building's grandeur has recently been restored to ensure that it is a unique option for clients in today's competitive event planning sector. Excellent mid century modern concert hall. I remember it as the O'Keefe Centre. Sound for acoustic performance was always a bit disappointing. Sounds great with modern PA system!

Went to go see Pokemon Symphonic Evolutions! Definitely a must see!! The only downside was I bought cheap seats and it is not friendly for bigger people. If someone wanted to pass the whole row had to stand up to allow them space. You get what you pay for I guess. Verdict:I would def recommend

Great place for symphonies and concerts. Saw a Steven Tyler concert, Legend of Zelda symphony and Pokemon symphonic evolution there. Had an enjoyable experience every time. I knocked a star off for their overpriced food and the rows of seats being too close together. Taller people are always having their knees knock into my seat due to the spaces between rows being to small.

I would give 5 star for the Alberta Ballet performance I watched few years ago. But later I watched Outside looking-in, it ruined my experience, although that wasn't this theatre's fault. I stayed almost an hour, but those kids performed less than 15 min I think. The rest of the time is all playing the interview of teachers, founders, program developers... Hey, those kids finally got a chance to perform on stage, they spent days and nights on rehearsals, this program just promoting itself and doesn't really care about their kids. They're using their kids to bring attention and funds.
