Stunning views. Expect very high ambient noise level. Great energy. But be ready to lip read unless you score a table outside.

I went to the Rooftop during summer to attend an event and have some drinks. I found the beverages slightly overpriced, but mind you, it is a hotel - you're paying more for the environment. The ambiance is unique and the views are spectacular. As a downtown dweller this is a bit of a hidden gem for me. I would definitely go again to get away from the city.

Impeccable customer service from the Broadview Hotel, they really went above and beyond for us.We'd booked a room last week for a family concert trip, and when we arrived shortly after 4pm our room wasn't quite ready (check-in time is 3pm). The two women we spoke with at the front desk, Catherine and Sasha, were so lovely. They went to great lengths to make up for such a small inconvenience. The room was absolutely spotless when we got in a short while later and the staff have thought of just about anything and everything. No detail is overlooked. Yoga mat in the closet, a wet bar, a filtered/sparkling water station on our floor, even a black washcloth for removing makeup. Brilliant! We ended up dining in the bistro on the main floor and treated to yet another round of incredible service by Jeremy. He went so far as to go up to the rooftop bar to get a bottle of scotch they didn't have in the bistro for us. Every employee we encountered was gracious and courteous, down to the young man Catherine enlisted to carry our drinks from the bistro bar to our room. When we arrived at our room after the concert, the pull out couch had been made up for us, but they'd also pulled all the blackout curtains closed, and turned on the bedside reading lights for us. Little things like that are so greatly appreciated. The Broadview has a great reputation for a reason; the hotel is beautiful (the pictures don't do it justice), but the key is that they take their guest experience very seriously. We will be raving about our stay here for a long time, and without a doubt it's become our go-to spot for nights out in Toronto. Thank you again for your hospitality!

A review of the "bistro and bar" at The Broadview Hotel. It's absolutely gorgeous. Unfortunately, that's the only kind thing I can say.We had brunch, which was surprisingly tasteless. My tomato soup was cold, acidic, and unseasoned. My grilled cheese with bacon had absolutely *no* bacon. The food was uninspired. We had to ask for salt and pepper to add some -- any -- flavour. After waiting nearly 30 minutes for our bill at the end of the meal, I finally had to go to the bar to ask for one. We were seated so close to the serving station that I was literally bumping elbows with staff.
