Filled with personal touches to celebrate a love a decade in the making, highschool sweethearts Jocelyn and Justin decide to tie the knot in today’s super gorgeous summer wedding at Nestleton Waters Inn.

Jocelyn shares the story behind the vision of their special day. “The wedding became a true fairytale when it was brought to life by the spectacular pictures taken by Nikko Lim from Nikko Photography he truly captured the beauty of the venue, day, romance and all of the little details that I worked so hard to achieve.

With nicknames of Jo and Doughboy growing up, both of which have become a staple to us as a couple to this day, and with the love for anything wood and rustic, the inspiration for our vision became one that was not only elegantly simple, but played into our passions and history as a couple. This was achieved by creatively displaying photographs of us from high school to the present on wooden crates, using chalk to not only handwrite all the signage accents but also play into the fact that I am a Kindergarten teacher, and lastly, making homemade strawberry jam favours with my Oma; a family pastime near and dear to my heart and one that encouraged our guests to Spread the Love!”

Working with Jocelyn and Justin every step of the way was Wedding Coordination Manager Claudia Kent of Nestleton Waters Inn. She shares with us her thoughts on this wonderful couple.

“This incredibly sweet couple came to us bringing their beautiful spirits, simple tastes and rustic country wedding vision for a down to earth and personalized wedding – the pictures show it all.  Who doesn’t love some burlap, lace and mason jars paired with candles, beautiful flowers and cute chalkboards hand written by the bride.

Jocelyn worked closely with us through the planning process and was wonderfully organized.  Justin was sent to work staining wood pieces to complete their country look. What truly made this wedding stand out to us was their love for each other – their first look was so touching and their appreciation of each other was so evident.  They are two best friends who belong with each other forever and forever and witnessing this kind of love and friendship makes our hearts sing.”
