Wanted to share for details about this event space for weddings (as of 2020 and 2021). - On-peak reception fee is $3735 for 2020 - 50% is due at booking (non-refundable) and 50% is due 90-days before. - If we need to cancel, we can use 70% of the booking fee towards art at the gallery. - There is a supervision fee of $260 and Security fee of $240. - 13% tax applied for a total fee ~$4700 for 10hrs of access to the space. - Any caterer is OK, but there is no kitchen so expect fees related to bringing in equipment. - Be aware that there are noise constraints as there are residential units above the space. The contract states noise must be low by 10PM, but when speaking verbally to coordinators they state that the music is still dance-level loud. Things like loud bass need to be turned off. - There is an on-site AV system that is included in the rental price. - Beautiful space - brick walls - art will be a surprise on day of reception or you can do a walk through before. Can remove a few pieces for free or pay an art removal fee if many need to change/move. - So far, communication has been easy and clear. - We need to re-book due to Covid-19 and were informed that prices go up by 15% every year, so this will be applied to our new 2021 booking. ($500 and something) added to the price.

I recently hosted a corporate event at Arta Gallery, and I could not be more pleased with the result. The space is very beautiful. Rustic but sophisticated and the colorful art on the wall was a great touch. Mariaye and Samantha were a pleasure to work with during the planning stages and on the day of the event. They helped with the set up and were attentive to all our needs and requests throughout the day. Our whole team and clients were very impressed with the venue and the vibe of the gallery. If you’re looking for something different - not just your typical corporate event, I highly recommend Arta. I’m definitely looking forward to working with them again in the future.

We used Arta for a fundraiser in early 2019, and had a fantastic experience! The on-site coordinators were incredibly helpful, accommodating our needs leading up to our event and then very helpful on the day of. They gave us suggestions for layouts and made sure we used the space most effectively. I won't hesitate to consider hosting here again.

The space is beautiful, however be very careful with the information given. We used Arta Gallery as our wedding venue for our reception. The space looks great and gives the rustic, artsy atmosphere we were looking for. Contract was followed and venue is a bargain based on the distillery district location. When our wedding planner and decorator showed up, they were told the person who we had 8 months of contact with quit. This was fine, however the venue never contacted us to update us on the change. The previous venue contact had months of conversations and meetings which was not provided to those taking over. We had provided a floor plan and when the furniture rentals came in and they did not know where to setup. Lucky our planner and designer showed up early to direct. The most disappointing was before we committed to booking the venue we discussed the type of art being displayed. They told us it is mostly abstract. We also asked if there are ever any NUDE installments as we have children on our guest list. We were told they do not put up nude art in their public galleries. On the day I got a call from my planner telling me there is nude art all over the wall. This was incredibly frustrating. We needed it down. We requested and they wanted to charge us hundreds of dollars to take it down before the guest arrived. Thank goodness for my planner and designer as they were aware of our vision and argued to take it down at no cost. The venue was beautiful and so was our wedding, however this venue is poorly managed and are lacking communication to clients spending thousands of dollars to use their space.

Definitely recommending to book your events with Arta Gallery! The space is beautiful and very flexible. I worked with Silvie who was incredible to work with, she helped me get in contact with the caters and everything that I needed for my event. The venue itself was extremely affordable, came with all of the extras that we needed (other than catering but the preferred caters they have available are really great and since Silvie connected us - it was so easy) and the staff were so great. My company would 100% book this spave again if a similar event opportunity presented itself. Thank you Arta!
