We loved working with Ikonica. Jackson and his team are so incredibly professional, and actually made me feel comfortable in front of a camera! The images we've received so far (just our sneak peek!) are fantastic. They're well executed, creatively framed, and they feel really intimate. Jackson and his team have consistently communicated quickly and professionally with us. I really feel that the team went above and beyond, and would recommend them to anyone looking for a photographer!

I don't usually write reviews, but the fact that Ikonica has 5 stars compelled me to help people be more informed before paying this company to provide footage for important events. We had a terrible experience with Ikonica, who we hired to do our wedding photos and videos. The photos and videos we received were so sloppy, amateur and looked so unprofessional that we ended up using materials that some guests provided to share with our family and friends. Those who did see the photos and videos from Ikonica were shocked that we actually paid for this service. Dealing with Jackson was extremely unnerving. He came up with a number of excuses for his team's subpar work (for example he tried to blame the church for the shaky and hazy video footage). It also felt like he was holding key moments hostage, which he would only provide at an additional cost unless explicitly stated in the contract. To be clear, this is raw footage which his team already captured. These included our first dance, any footage of bridesmaids or groomsmen together, grand entrance, the bride walking down the aisle, and so on. He clearly prioritizes money over customer service and quality of work. He even held back key photos that they took, including family photos in the church, that we stood for hours to take. If you do decide to work with Ikonica, please read the contract very well before signing, and be sure to include ALL key items you would like to receive - I would go so far to explicitly state things like CHURCH FAMILY PHOTO, BRIDE WITH BRIDESMAIDS, GROOM WITH FAMILY, etc.. His exact words were "we shot many images and not all were included in the delivered files.. if you want the rest of the raw files they are available for $300" or "if you wish to have the footage for the first dance, it is available with the rest of the raw footage for $600". I.e. I'm holding the best memories hostage until you pay me more. Although Jackson finally admitted that what he delivered was subpar he refused to provide any photo or video replacement footage (other than providing re-edits of the original videos which were just cutting out most of them), without an extra charge! For example, the ceremony video was completely useless (he didn't even capture the bride walking down the aisle!), and after admitting that he agreed that the work was bad, he would not provide footage of our first dance to compensate even though they had captured it! An extremely low move to grab some extra cash in my opinion! Their customer service was almost as bad as the product quality they provided, and I highly recommend staying away from these guys as there are dozens of highly qualified photographers/videographers in Toronto.

Ikonica was the first and only photography company we met with prior to our wedding. After just a short meeting with Alex we knew we really wanted to work with him. We could see from all the previous work he showed us that he really understood the style of photography that we wanted. He was also great about explaining all the packages so that we could pick the one that was best for us and what we wanted. On the day of both him and Jackson were there and they were both AMAZING. Our wedding pictures are stunning and all our guests loved working with Ikonica just as much as we did. They made everyone laugh and smile and it was just like having more family in the room. They really captured all the moments we wanted and then some. They also made us feel so comfortable and we aren't picture people! We Would recommend them to anyone who wants a truly professional, thoughtful and beautiful wedding photography experience.

We choose Ikonica to photograph the most important day of our lives, and we couldn’t be happier!
Jackson is a creative genius behind the camera, capturing the perfect shot, angle, moment in an expression that is pure magic. His entire team at Ikonica were a pleasure to work with, from his assistant, to album editors. It really felt like a family at Ikonica and as clients, we always felt like we were taken care of. So much so, that we chose to also do our maternity shoot with Ikonica as well. This was a very special shoot for me, which also gave me quite a bit of anxiety. However, Jackson put my mind at ease, making me feel extremely comfortable and beautiful. The photos from our engagement shoot, wedding and maternity shoot blew our expectations out of the water. The quick turnaround time on getting our photos back was also very impressive. We are thrilled with all of our photos and can honestly say everything we wanted was captured in the best light. I look forward to working with Ikonica again!

We LOVED the pictures that Ikonica took of our wedding. Alex was our photographer and he was simply amazing. We felt so relaxed and comfortable with him. We had told him in advanced that we wanted candid images that didn't feel staged or forced and he surpassed our expectations. I usually don't like how I look in pictures so I was pretty nervous but I could not believe how much I loved the pictures that Alex took. Throughout the day he was so easy to work with and faded into the background of the day but managed to capture every moment. I would highly recommend Alex and Ikonica to anyone.
