I recently ordered catering on October 4, 2014 for my 30th birthday party. The experience at Patois was amazing! The staff were friendly and accommodating. The Chef, Wayne came to introduce himself which made it feel personal and special. The prices were comparable, if not better than most places and the restaurant was clean and tidy. The food was absolutely amazing. I ordered a large jerk chicken and a large BBQ chicken and my guests couldn't stop talking about how tasty the chicken was. There wasn't much left over! I'd highly recommend Patois to any of my family and friends. I would especially recommend their catering for any gathering or special occasion. I will definitely be using them again. Thank you, Wayne and all the staff at Patois who helped make my 30th Birthday BBQ memorable!

My wife and I are the Entertainment Chair persons for a local yacht club in Pickering. As such we are always looking for new ideas to make sure the members are having a good time. We came up with the idea of hosting a Caribbean event recently, and in keeping with the theme we felt it was essential to serve an authentic Caribbean meal. But where do we go for such food in Durham Region? A fellow member suggested we consider Patois Jamaican Restaurant since nothing is more Caribbean than Jamaica and the island is known the world round for good food. Maxine and Chef Wayne were as excited as we were about making this event as successful as possible and were very helpful in making sure we had all bases covered food-wise. On the day of the event my order was ready on time as promised. Come dinner time, we could not believe how fast the food was disappearing. Fortunately we had ordered enough to feed the masses and without exception everyone commented on how good the food was. Many asked where it was catered from. I was not the least bit hesitant to tell those who asked: Patois Jamaican Restaurant right next to the Old Liverpool House at Kingston and Liverpool. You want good authentic Jamaican cooking - Patois is the place you're looking for. Well done Patois, we'll be back.

Chef Wayne and his team did a fantastic job catering our 30th year anniversary event. The food was scrumptious, plentiful and well presented. We used Patois a second time for our new Pastors' installation service and Chef Wayne did it again! Consistent, delicious authentic Jamaican food! We wouldn't change a thing.
