When Markham went in to lockdown in December, I was searching for a barbershop in Durham to get one last haircut in before everything was shut down. I took a chance on Iconz based on their high reviews and booked an appt with Brian. I'm always nervous going to a barber for the 1st time. My hair is a little weird and rarely does a barber cut it the way I like on the 1st attempt. Brian was great and I was pleasantly surprised however. He was very nice while we chatted, and he took the time to understand exactly how I wanted the cut. At every "checkpoint" he stopped to verify that things looked ok (which is something that you think more barbers would do but it doesn't always happen). Fade was great and he was pretty good with cutting the top. I'd recommend Brian to anyone. Only drawback was the price of the haircut - too expensive for me to be a regular unfortunately.
