Warning: Our anticipated dream wedding turned into a harrowing ordeal with Babylon Decor. After meticulously finalizing details with Rafi, the owner, and sealing the deal with a contract and deposit, the unraveling began. A visit to their office weeks before the wedding exposed discrepancies – elements promised at a specific price were suddenly deemed additional expenses. Attempts to reason with Rafi's sister resulted in rude dismissals and gaslighting.

Desperate for clarity, we contacted Rafi, only to face an unexpected hostile attitude. Instead of addressing our concerns, he repeatedly interrupted, making us feel insignificant. Requesting time to review the contract, Rafi left us emotionally drained, promising to get back to us. The silence that followed left us feeling betrayed and insecure about entrusting Babylon with our special day.

Attempting to cancel our booking and explain our reservations, Rafi's response was far from understanding. His yelling and refusal to acknowledge any fault left me, the bride, in tears, shattered by the unexpected hostility. Efforts to recover our deposit proved futile as Babylon Decor conveniently ignored our calls, messages, and emails. Exercise extreme caution before considering them for your event.

Worst customer service I've experienced since planning my wedding! Unfortunately, I must give this business one star to write this review, but they are worthy of no stars at all. Yesterday, my fiance, my wedding planner, and I had a 6:30 PM appointment for which we were on time. However, once it was our turn to sit down with the associate, she tells us that they have many appointments coming in and are behind. At the time, it was just my fiance, my planner and myself in the studio—no other clients/customers. The owner then shows up with another couple and sits down at a table nearby. My appointment is going smoothly at first, but as more and more clients show up for their appointment, the more agitated the owner becomes. He then comes over to the associate we are working with (she is working off of the ONLY computer in the studio), and he keeps telling her to get up. Finally, she says, "we're not done". Which we were not. She gets up. He sits down and says to us, "I need the computer. You have enough information. I need to help the other appointments now". Just like that. He doesn't even have the decency to see where we are with building our decor plan or try to humbly reschedule. Instead, we were met with coldness and aggression. All because he did not take the time to accurately plan out his appointments. My planner tells him that we are only halfway through, and we waited a month for this appointment. He did not care. He says again, "we are behind!" Now, if we've made an appointment, I do not understand what warranted him to practically throw us out. What I do know, though, is that professionalism, compassion and care for customers are lacking in this establishment. I would not recommend this company to anyone! BEWARE. Don't waste your time like we just did. Even if they changed their attitude, the overbooking and then rushed approach to their customers doesn't deserve a dime from your wallet. Just imagine what kind of service you will receive on your wedding day if this is the first impression. I am upset, and I am hurt, and I would hate for another unsuspecting couple to be treated this way. You've been warned.

We got married on May 18, 2019. My husband and I were extremely disappointed in Babylon Decor and what they had done on our wedding day. We had first of all paid in cash because Rafi was striking us up with a "deal". He had asked that we pay full amounts before the wedding day and we did fair and square. I will admit the deal sounded too good to be true for the price and it was! It was a complete disaster. Not only did we start our reception an hour late leaving our guests outside of the hall, but Babylon's staff had abandoned the venue when our backdrop was falling apart!! The flower wall was falling apart, my groom was on a ladder putting the flowers back in because everyone had left saying they had another bigger wedding to tend to next door. Mind you, our wedding was 180 people so still decently sized. We had sent a document with exact photos and common understanding from Babylon accepting this was our agreement for the vision. There were no candles on the welcome table, cake table, receiving table (esp for our grandparents who passed away). We had paid for three chandeliers and one of the chandeliers was left to hand behind the backdrop that was falling apart. The sides of the flower wall were not draped properly and left the top of the wall exposed and did not look like the agreed upon photo examples. We had also paid $150 extra for more staff to help as we were expecting the hall to be given at 3pm and needed it completed by 5:30pm - this was demanded by Rafi saying he promised it would be done if we paid the extra fee for extra hands - Farah also acknowledging around 10 staff present. The reception hall vendor has video footage of only one lady trying to set up the hall for an extremely long time - complete SCAM. My wedding coordinator had called Rafi multiple times, and he kept hanging up on her or ignoring her calls! They had left us to scramble during the most important day of our lives AND they were extremely rude to all our other vendors who have exceptional reputations in the wedding industry! The only things that saved our backdrop was our cake vendor and our florist with her pieces and we are so glad we didn't rely on Babylon for those. We emailed Babylon asking for a PARTIAL refund of $700 (not even half of what we paid) and we didn't even get an acknowledgement or response. Rafi did not even take decent notes with our details during our meetings (I asked him to and he said he knows what he's doing) and I am so glad I have proof of email laying out our expectations and acknowledgement from Farah and one more staff member. We also had to get a lighting technician from the venue to help them set up the lights because they lady setting up didn't know what she was doing - we paid extra for him as well. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE read the reviews carefully - I know the price sounds good but it is not worth the risk! I know there are some good reviews on here but there are also ones that can relate to the extreme stress and anxiety that Babylon had put us through. We are a young couple and our sweat and blood went into paying for this wedding. The fact that it happened to us, it can happen to you too. We were respectful, trusting and completely clear with communication with Babylon, and they ghosted us at a very crucial time and continue to do so. It is not about the 3K that we lost with Babylon, it is about the lost moments and lack of respect. We trusted them we did...Rafi said "don't worry we're going to have this all done for you. We do so many weddings"...but Babylon Decor was our only regret on our wedding day. If I can save at least one couple from going through this, I will feel a lot better.

I had an absolutely terrible experience with Babylon Decor. He charged me $1600 for sparklers that did not work AT ALL. He charged me $400 for an ice machine that did not work at all either. We agreed on some decorations and he brought different ones. He said all of the decor would be ready at 4:00, but it wasn't finished until 6:00 which clashed with my guests. I had to make our guests wait at the door until the room was ready. I would highly recommend people seek another decorator as you will not receive what you want. The decorations of my wedding cost me $8000 and for what I had, I would not even pay $2000. he made me cry more than one time in my wedding. He screws up all of my wedding planning and all what I dreamed of. I called him like 5 times in my wedding and he latterly told me I cannot do anything now for you I depend on the sparkles in my entree and cutting the cake slow dance but unfortunately one 2 of them 2 out of 8 works and only for 15 sec and then they were off which they supposed to work for at least 40 sec The icing machine did not work at all. So, my slow dance as well screws up. I think $8000 dollars should give you what you dream. I think its enough money to get the most beautiful decor ever. We called him at the end of the wedding after I was so stress and crying all day because of him. And he starts yelling and shouting and swearing at us in very bad words and unpolite words. And at the end he hangs the phone on my face. If you really need a peaceful wedding amazing and what you dream of do not take him as your decorator. I shared my experience because I know how each bride and groom feel at this day specially and I want you guys to have the best wedding ever. Dealing with Rafi and his staff at Babylon Décor you won’t have the best wedding I’m telling you All I need Is what he promised me but he ended up not doing what he promised me.

They pay attention to detail and they made the backdrop/cake table/ receiving line look AMAZING! after the wedding everyone commented on how beautful the hall looked.
