“Moments of stillness are rare on your wedding day, but we feel it’s important to be able to stop for a second and soak it in. Your wedding day will fly by so fast – try to enjoy it as much as possible. These are the moments you will cherish forever and we want to be near you to capture that.”

“Lanna & Dave are the kind of couple that make being together this special place and time; they love so deeply. This photo was from a moment where we snuck off to a little breakfast nook around the corner of their wedding venue to pause and really take in the beauty of the day they became husband and wife.”

“When photographers are given enough time for the bride and groom’s photo session on the wedding day, they can create very meaningful images. Not only because they have time to think of great composition and lighting, but also because the bride can be herself and at ease, which makes her very comfortable in front of the camera.”

“Recessional photos are always some of my favourite from a wedding day, but this shot of Vivian radiates pure joy! They were the sweetest couple and were totally in love.”

“At Angus Glen Golf Club, we all liked the wild greenery background. We tried to fly the long veil to make the picture look like a fairy tale.”

“Taking our cue from intimate captures of ’60s iconic couples, we approached this shoot to reflect Nicki and Paul’s love, playfulness, contradictions, and discerning aesthetic. We worked with hair and makeup artist Misty Fox to create Nicki’s elegant yet touseled look. Starting the shoot in the intimacy of their home, then walking through the old neighbourhoods of downtown Toronto, we arrive at Harbord Room, a gorgeous restaurant with electric pink walls.”

“Two soulmates. Married at the beautiful St Lawrence Hall in Toronto. Kenny and Pep were surrounded by a small gathering of their favorite people for one of the sweetest weddings we’ve ever documented.”

“The moment when Andrea walked down the aisle to meet Nick in the gown she designed herself was something even I was looking forward to. Nick’s reaction was so authentic and sincere, added to only by the fact they were being married by Nick’s Grandfather at the camp ground they met at years earlier!”

“I took this photograph of Andrea and Chris in the Distillery district in the summer. For this particular photo I used an almost 30 year old Nikon lens, which I think contributed to the overall ‘analog’ feel of this photograph. I love mixing old technology with the new… but what makes this photo perfect is the way Andrea and Chris are with each other. They are in love and it really shows.”

“We absolutely love photographing weddings. Suddenly simple moments like a belly laugh, smirk, or thoughtful glance and deep breath become so much more poignant. On such a special day, often the smaller moments are the most special. We so deeply value catching tiny moments just like this one and are always on the lookout. Our lovely bride was about a minute away from being completely ready to head off to the ceremony and had a quiet second to herself. We love to imagine the nervousness, excitement, and peace she was feeling in this moment.”

“After the bride and groom’s first look at the stunning Shangri-La Toronto hotel, we brought them over to the picturesque Osgoode Hall for their portraits. This allowed for some private time for them to enjoy their wedding day before the celebration with all their loved ones began, later in the day at Boehmer.”

“I love photographing my couples in natural environments; we are lucky because Ontario has so many beautiful and diverse landscapes. I have to say though, the blossoms of the Niagara region are my personal favourite. I have had requests from couples across Canada and the USA for engagement shoots in the blossoms, but they are incredibly hard to plan in advance, being that the trees only blossom for about 4 days each year, and they are never the same four days.  For couples that do actually succeed in timing their session to match the peak of the blooms, the results are magical.”

“I’m always looking for contrast in imagery and I love how the city is an urban backdrop for our very feminine bride. The historic Gooderham Building on Wellington Street gives a vintage feeling to our modern moment and the end result is timeless.”

“I absolutely adore this image of Laura & Zak being greeted for the first time as husband and wife, with smiles, love, and rose petals. The looks of pure hope and happiness on their faces really say it all!”

“I love this image because it shows that a powerful connection can be seen between a couple without them having to be in a face-to-face pose.  We were surrounded by a gorgeous forest, but the forest floor wasn’t nearly as picturesque as the trees so we used a prisming technique to compose the image and showcase the full beauty of the scene.”
