Lyana and Kazutaka’s union was meant to be. They grew up with each other’s best friends but didn’t meet until grade 11 at a party where they exchanged no more than three words to each other that night. However, they quickly became best friends and became a couple in 2011. Kazu finally popped the question in our home in June 2019 over a bag of Tostitos® and salsa. Their wedding is a beautiful celebration of their journey filled with love-filled moments and lots of laughter (and tequila) with family and friends. Set at the scenic The Doctor's House, their big day was planned by the brilliant Narelle Janine Events. The elegance throughout the day was matched by the beautiful couple and their attire. Officiated by Officiants of Vaughn, the couple exchanged vows in a lovely ceremony filled with lush citrus-coloured florals by Peachwood Wedding and Event Design.

According to the bride, once Platinum Entertainment Solutions got the dancefloor opened, she and the groom had a tray and served up joints to our guests out on the patio (they cleared this with the venue, of course). “This was one of the most memorable moments because we had friends, family and coworkers bonding over these unique party favors.”
