The The Globe and Mail Centre once again proved why it remains one of Toronto’s most coveted event venues, hosting this year’s industry night: “Evening of Opulence.” Between the jewel-toned palette, architectural florals, and unforgettable culinary experiences, the evening transported guests into a world of luxury, artistry, and inspiration.
Upon arrival, the ambiance and attention to detail were unmistakable – decadent draping, rich textures and sculptural design elements created a visual feast at every turn. This year’s creative direction was brought to life by the powerhouse partnership between Artam Design Inc. and Ethereal Creators, whose combined vision transformed the space into a captivating oasis of depth, mood, and glamour. A special thank-you to the team at Mango Studios for so beautifully capturing every detail.

Every touchpoint was meticulously curated. From the moment guests arrived, Northern Valet‘s white-glove service set the tone for an exceptional experience.
Element Event Solutions provided the beautifully executed draping and rentals that complimented the venue’s architecture, while Detailz furnished the vibrant, modern pieces that anchored each vignette with luxurious comfort. Every surface, from bar fronts to lounges, offered a rich interplay of colour and texture. Reznick Event Carpets completed the transformation, adding warmth and elegance with their signature custom flooring.
Michael Coombs Entertainment – a perennial favourite – kept the energy high and the room buzzing throughout the evening. Stationery and design by Paper & Poste further elevated the guest experience.
Toronto’s top caterers truly outdid themselves this year, offering an elevated tasting experience that doubled as an artistic display. Thoughtfully curated food stations featured bold presentations, interactive elements, and inventive flavour combinations.
Whether it was a tartare bar, sculptural dessert displays, or refined canapés that looked almost too beautiful to eat, the evening was a testament to the city’s exceptional culinary talent. Guests were not simply dining—they were indulging in a multisensory journey.
