Amazing, incredibly, wonderful experience.

My wedding on August 8th 2026 would not have been possible if it was not for Carley and her amazing team.

I wanted to be my most authentic self, feel incredibly beautiful, and have a relaxing fun and unforgettable morning. Writing this review, brings me absolute joy, and tears as she brought such a blessing, and positive energy.

I booked for my mother, Maid of honour, bridesmaid, as well as a trial for hair and makeup prior.

My bridal wedding party had different textures, and skin tones
I’m mixed: half Jamaican- black, half Filipino I have combination 3C hair, lots of volume, dry
maid of honour - has long, blonde, curly wavy hair
Bridesmaid, wavy curly hair, dark
Mother, long, straight hair

I had so much anxiety as a curly haired bride, I didn’t want to straighten my hair, and I never saw representations of people who looked like me, in such an accessible way, finding Carley brought me such relief and validation that I could be my most authentic self on my wedding day. I have incredibly sensitive skin, I have severe excema and she was so delicate and sensitive towards this. I was so worried for the wedding on having a flare up but I felt so comfortable by her support it took all my anxiety away, it was truly a testament to her professional skills, and her genuine kindness and thoughtful approach and love for what she does.

PROS:
- initial call was incredibly fun, and she was open to my ideas, and wanted to genuinely understand the vision. We did not know certain aspects and she was flexible with everything before hand and day of.
- incredibly communicative and responsive in emails, calls etc.
- positive energy, overall great spirit and gives you a relaxing energy morning of.
- the trial was so fun we did get into a bump on my end not Carley’s regarding just the process of what to do in person but she was able to pivot and make it exactly how I imagined.
- I wanted my hair to be me, half up half down and my curls looked fantastic, held up the whole day and even next day looked beautiful
- I cried the entire wedding, the entire reception, and just every moment in between. I had zero touch ups needed minus my lipstick
- every single person at my wedding commented on “don’t cry your makeup will ruin” and it never did and they were in awe with how well it held up.
- my husband and I are dance partners and I was a Bride who was running up and down, dancing the night away, sweating heavily, I was able to be a free spirit- studio pictures where I jumped into bathtub ball pit, was carried around, taught a dance lesson, literally ran around tables taking pictures for a speed run of “love on the run” , I had toddlers coming up and kissing me, and touching my hair and was able to really be loved by everyone withought worrying about how I looked as my hair and makeup were perfect
- the girls absolutely adored the process and makeup they looked stunning it held up while they participated in all the hectic parts of the wedding.
- her timing was perfect, she was incredibly punctual, and even when we were finishing up she was like a fairy god mother who flew in and just made everyone beautiful and comfortable.

CONS
My only regret, was not being able to do a selfie with Carley and her team. She truly was a fairy God Mother.

Book her, do whatever she says for the trials, she will be your fairy god mother.

Carley was an absolute dream to work with. I knew from my first email exchange with her that I was in amazing hands. On my wedding day, she made me feel so calm and brought the most incredible positive energy. Chatting it up with all the ladies, you would have thought she had known the group of gals there for years.

My hair and makeup were everything I dreamed of. I always fear getting my makeup done because I worry I won’t look like myself, but Carley highlighted my features so perfectly that it made me feel completely comfortable. She worked with my very long and very thick hair so effortlessly, and when I look back at photos, I can’t stop marveling at how perfect it all looked.
