About

The Michael Vieira Band has been providing the finest dance bands, cocktail/dinner music, and event production services to Toronto and the GTA for over 30 years. We specialize in live music for weddings, corporate events, parties, and special occasions of any size and type.

The band combines the energy of live musicianship with modern music technology to deliver "true to the original" performances of the most requested dance music from all eras. Our repertoire mixes songs from the Big Band era of Glen Miller and Frank Sinatra, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Disco, R'n'B, The Tragically Hip, to the hottest top 40's pop tunes by artists such as Bruno Mars, Rihanna, Katy Perry, Pitbull, The Weekend, Pharell Williams and Camila Cabello to name a few.

We offer groups ranging from ceremony soloists and small groups, to jazz groups for cocktails/dinner and receptions, to our high energy dance bands. We also offer complete entertainment packages which include reception music, background dinner music, and dance bands.

Michael and the band were amazing. First off they learned like 5 new songs for us which was so awesome to hear our favourite songs live on the dance floor. He frames his USP as sounding like the actual bands / songs on the radio and not like a ‘cover’ - which can be annoying to hear when you know and love the real song. I 100% agree with his messaging - they sounded like the real songs !!! It was amazing. Definitely opt for the 5-6 person band so you get the full sound. Everyone was dancing all night and I heard this isn’t always the case at weddings?? Not at mine! He also dj’d throughout dinner etc so full round packaged service. Great value too. Highly recommend!! We initially heard of him through a friend recommending him and definitely did not let us down. Thank you!!

Michael and his band have done corporate functions for a club that I organize, they are excellent and have everyone up dancing,

Just last month, although the band did not perform, Michael provided us with a violinist who did a great job wandering around a cocktail party entertaining everyone. It was a charity event for the Federation of Corporate Counsel Foundation. I would highly recommend Michael Viera for all your entertainment needs.

We were lucky enough to have the Michael Vieira Band perform for us at our Client Golf Tournament afterparty last summer for VR Mechanical. It was an outdoor venue, and the band did not disappoint! All guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves and the band and song selections were a huge hit! They brought the evening to life with their talent and energy and we look forward to working with them again!
