2nd Floor Events opened their doors to host hundreds of potential brides and grooms at their wedding open house last week! Located in the heart of the city at King and Spadina, this chic, urban, turnkey venue is so stunning – offering exposed brick, a sleek built-in bar, delicious in-house catering, and so much more! With a capacity of 160 for a ceremony and reception on-site, and standing space for up to 350 guests, 2nd Floor is the perfect space to host any wedding or event. Guests were treated to mouth-watering food, an open bar, and tons of inspiration for wedding decor and vendors. Luckily John and Samantha Photography was on hand to capture all the fabulous details!
The talented ladies at Blush & Bowties designed a swoon-worthy ceremony space and multiple tablescapes, with Roadside Florist providing the flowers, Chair-man Mills providing the linens and chairs, and Plate Occasions providing the beautiful napkins and tabletop decor. I loved how each tablescape differed from one another, but all three were very on trend using velvet linens and gauze napkins, along with a mixture of dried and fresh floral elements. It felt so romantic to walk through the venue amidst the candlelight and warm tones used throughout the tables and ceremony.
Pinya Letters provided guests with a customized key-chain – a huge hit amongst attendees!
At the snack bar you could find a giant croquembouche, tons of desserts and donuts hung from either side of the wall from Dipped Donuts. Needless to say once someone was brave enough to take the first donut, they flew off the wall in a flash!
Snapshot Photobooth provided guests the chance to pose in front of a chic marble background, along with tons of props to choose from to play around with!
The Bride’s Project was on-hand to discuss wedding gowns, while Jessica Jewellery showcased some beautiful necklaces and rings.
It was an amazing open house enjoyed by all, with fabulous vendors, food and drinks – what more could you ask for! Thanks to 2nd Floor and all the vendors for putting on such a fabulous event!
