If I could give zero stars, I would. My wife and I hired Brandon Taylor Photography for what was supposed to be one of the happiest and most meaningful days of our lives, our wedding. Instead, over a year and four months later, we are still waiting for what we paid for.

From the beginning, Brandon seemed pleasant and professional enough, but that quickly changed once the wedding was over and he got paid. Communication dropped off completely. Every few months, we would reach out to ask for updates, and when he did bother to respond, it was always some new excuse…. “the files are almost done,” “just finalizing edits,” “computer issues,” “delivering soon.” Over and over again. Yet, nothing ever arrived.

After countless messages, he finally sent a “highlight video” and the quality was absolutely disappointing. The lighting, editing, and overall presentation were nowhere near what was promised or expected for the price we paid. We even had to ask him to redo his work, which is something no newlywed couple should have to do after paying thousands of dollars for a professional.

To make matters worse, we still haven’t received our promised “speeches”videos. Just a highlight reel, with nothing else that was promised, not a single clip. Just silence. It’s incredibly heartbreaking and infuriating to know that after all this time, we still don’t have a proper way to relive or share one of the most important days of our lives.

We’ve tried being patient, understanding, and polite for over a year. But enough is enough. The lack of communication, accountability, and respect for his clients is absolutely unacceptable. Brandon Taylor has taken our money, ignored our messages, made empty promises, and completely failed to deliver.

To any future couples reading this: please think twice before hiring him. Don’t make the same mistake we did. A wedding photographer’s job is to capture memories you can cherish forever, not to cause stress, disappointment, and anger every time you think about your wedding day.

What should’ve been something beautiful has turned into a constant reminder of unprofessionalism and broken trust.

If I could give him a 0 stars I would. He scammed me 4 days before my wedding. I reached out to him like 10 times weeks leading up to our wedding and got ghosted. The wednesday before my wedding he messaged me saying he had a family emergency and COULDN'T SHOOT MY WEDDING. I have never been so furious and disappointed. PLEASE save yourself the agony and do not book Brandon. In addition to the wedding fiasco, he took well over 6 months to give me my wedding photos. He wouldn't give me a timeline, wouldnt respond to my messages, etc. I thought I'd lost all my wedding photos. He's a scam artist, do not book him.

To Jordan July2025 post: I Think this was me!! Horrible experience from start to finish with Brandon. He ended up refunding me (only) half of the cost once I called him out for attending another wedding the same night (he was tagged on insta) and I threatened legal action. I CANNOT believe he's still doing this to people almost 10 years later. Someone on FB said he was ordered to close out his business but I haven't heard. It's very sad.

Brandon was an absolute dream to work with for my August 2025 wedding. I fell in love with his style the moment I saw his work. But after reading a few reviews right before signing our contract, my fiancé and I got cold feet and voiced our concerns to him. He immediately hopped on a call with us, explained himself and most importantly, took accountability. He also made several updates to our contract to put our minds at ease. The conversation we had with him earned our trust, and from that point on, Brandon was hands down our easiest vendor to work with. From our engagement shoot to our wedding day, he went above and beyond. We got our engagement photos back within a week and our wedding sneak peeks in just two days. He even recorded our vows on his personal phone so we’d have them saved forever. Not only is he insanely talented, but he also genuinely cares about his couples, and it shows in everything he does. We are completely obsessed with our photos, and I truly can’t recommend him enough. If you’re considering Brandon, I highly encourage you to get on a call with him and get to know him/hear him out. If your experience is anything like mine was, you’ll be so happy you chose him!

Scam artist. Cancelled on us days before the wedding. Just from reading the other complaints it would appear Brandon has torn 5 acls, has a terrible immune system, and had all 5 of his grandmothers die days before multiple weddings. If you take him to small claims court you will get some money back. I lawyered up and he folded harder than bad knee with no ligaments. Something he’s apparently all too familiar with.
