Lauren and Braden’s wedding at the Friday Harbour elevated the idea of a classic wedding with a modern twist. It was the perfect day for the couple who were truly meant to be together. They first met at a bar in May 2017 through their friends. But at that time, Braden was in a relationship and Lauren was getting over a tough break up. Next time when their paths crossed each other was at a concert in 2018 where they danced all night. This time they were both single and instantly hit it off. Ever since that day, Braden knew that she was the one and the rest is history! The bride and groom perfectly matched the sleekness of their white palette, with the groom in a tux by Joseph Abboud and the bride wearing a gorgeous lace dress by Anais Anette from Vogue Sposa and a beautiful updo by Jay Kay Braids and Bridal & Yadgia Hair. Completing her look was her flawless make-up by Bianca Minghella. Luckily the talented lens of Samantha Ong was on hand to capture every moment.
The rain couldn’t put a damper on the couple’s romantic and fun photo session. According to Ong, the couple were such troopers when it came to the rain, and their special connection, including with their dog, Capella, was evident throughout.
Luckily, the rain stopped for the couple’s stunning outdoor ceremony, which was officiated by Heart and Soul Wedding Officiant. Pastels were featured prominently, from the florals to the bridesmaid gowns by Birdy Grey, added a nice pop of colour to the white palette. Their loved ones looked on as the couple exchanged exquisite wedding bands by Carey Pearson Designs and music was provided by Mobile Productions Event Group.
