So, pour a glass of vino and open Pinterest. Browse different silhouettes and styles and once you know what you like, start looking for bridal shops in your area. Some boutiques will have prices online so you can search within your budget, while others require an in person visit. Start planning now so you can hit the ground running once quarantine is lifted!
Step 2: Turn your living room into a salon
Though you may have pictured saying yes to your dress surrounded by your maids and hundreds of gowns – that may not be possible given our current circumstances, especially if you need to find a dress soon. Luckily, many boutiques offer shipping and free returns so you can try on dresses in the comfort of your own home! So, call up the girls on Zoom, pour a glass and get ready to feel like a million bucks!
Step 3: Enlist expert advice
Still not sure what you want? Many salons are offering virtual style appointments where they will video chat with you and suggest dresses based on your personality and wants. During this consultation, you will take a virtual tour of the boutique, and your consultant will pull gowns of interest. While this doesn’t replace in person consults, it’s a great solution so you can stay safe at home and still receive expert advice.

Want to wait until you can head to a boutique in person to make your final decision? Consider shopping for your other outfits online while we are isolated at home. Don’t leave your bridal shower, bachelorette or rehearsal dinner outfit until the last minute – hop online and get searching. These choices are much easier to shop for online, so check something off your to-do list by taking care of this during quarantine.
