About

Cherry Street Bar-B-Que is a counter-service style barbecue house located in the Port Lands neighbourhood of the city of Toronto. Our pit-smoked meats are cooked over white oak using ‘time-honoured’ and classic Southern smoking traditions. We also offer a selection of classic and alternate sides. Our unique flavour profiles draw on a variety of regional styles and influences. Like the multi-cultural nature of our city, we are proudly Toronto BBQ.

If you’re looking for an alternative to the traditional plated dinner, we offer our catering services in either Buffet/Food Stations, Family Style, or Cocktail Style dining. Whatever the function our team will tailor a menu to fit your needs.

We have used Cherry St. for a couple worker appreciation lunches, and both have been absolutely fantastic. Very easy to work with Yousuf and the team, they came prepared with everything we needed. The latest lunch we put on had 100 workers and Cherry St. was able to put it on with no issues whatsoever. We had lots of workers compliment that it was the best appreciation lunch they had ever been to. I will definitely be reaching out to the team in the future for other events.

International Axe Throwing Federation

Cherry St Bar-B-Que has been catering our event, the International Axe Throwing Championship, every June for the past 2 years. Every year, Lawrence and his team bring exceptional taste and quality to a band of 500+ ravenous axe throwers. They are consummate professionals from start to finish. They set up, serve, and take down with efficiency and autonomy. As an event planner, it is a huge relief when a vendor is self-sufficient like the Cherry St team. I knew that with all I my worries during the event, food wouldn't be one of them. We are already looking forward to eating more delicious BBQ at our event this summer.
