worse hair salon ever. went to colour my hair, was a brassy/yellow blonde going into the salon, came out the salon same brassy yellow blonde.I asked the stylist to darken my hair to a brunette, that should've been the easiest hair dye job ever as im simply going darker instead of lighter.the stylists don't really communicate much with their clients.contacted the owner over email asking to resolve the issue, she said next time she'll give me a discount. there will be no next time I said.went to walmart and bought boxed hair dye, loved the results.thanks for charging me 185 for nothing and have the audacity to actually offer me a discount on my next visit. no more. thank you
I came across Industry back when it was a Toni and Guy location from a suggestion from a friend, as I had just moved from Montreal. A last minute haircut turned into 6 years of faithful appointments. I absolutely love Alexis and would recommend her and the Industry team to anyone looking for a salon, The price point is a bit high but competitive for Toronto in general and has always been worth it!
I tried this place due to the overall good customer reviews I found. I was quite hopeful, but unfortunately I won't be coming back here. It was a mixed experience, but given the price point, I'd rather find another salon. The staff were courteous, so no complaints on that front. The dude who offered me tea sadly never brought it though. My hair stylist gave me a lovely head massage, and did an excellent job layering the front of my hair, but the back was unevenly layered. I also didn't notice until I got home, but I got some unknown extra charge on my bill. It was only $1.25 (miniscule compared to the cost of the cut), but I have no idea what that's for! Kinda annoying - hopefully not for the tea that I never got.
I have never had a hair cut that I haven't loved from here. I always recommend this place (and Olivia) to anyone who compliments my hair cut. They will cut your hair to look fantastic, rather than cutting your hair to fit the 'cut'. The service is great- but they are very busy. I am not a 'Yorkville' person, but after having years of ungreat haircuts, they are totally worth it.
