Our tour took this cruise on a cool, windy day, but I still enjoyed the leisurely pace, taking photographs. Amazing skyline views. This is a SHORT trip. Corny narration. Bored looking deck hands.
The crew of Showboat saved us! We booked online last night through a third party booking site which indicated 15 Spots Remaining only to learn the cruise was sold out three days ago when we tried to board. We wanted to watch the Air Show from the water so this was a shock. They could have turned us away but the Mariposa staff crewing Showboat went out of their way to accommodate us and prepared us a special table with a beautiful view. The service during the cruise was exceptional and the lunch was yummy. The DJ was great, the bartender was cool and cold was the beer. Everyone seemed eager to accommodate the guests on board. We ended up having a lovely afternoon. Thank you Showboat Captain and crew for saving our day!Advice to readers please book directly through Mariposa.
We recently booked a bachelor party with Mariposa and I have to say the process was not encumbering to book and plan. But where this company really shines is its crew and staff . They were friendly and went above and beyond what was asked of them .The events manager handled our party well and we all had an incredibly enjoyable experience.Thank you again, would definitely recommend this company and cruise
My boyfriend and I did a sip and sail cruise. It was so fun! The on board DJ kept everyone moving and the sunset behind the skyline was amazing!! Tickets were cheap to get on board but then drinks were pretty pricey ($12 for well drinks). It was worth it though! I'd recommend it if you're visiting like us, or if you just want a different kind of after work happy hour!
I went on the lunch cruise and it was amazing. It was a relaxing trip and the food was great. I loved being on the water seeing Toronto from a new perspective. I can't wait to come back and do it again soon.
Today I officiated my first wedding on a boat! What a treat it was to board the Mariposa Rosemary for a 3- hour wedding cruise through the Toronto Islands. Special thanks to Captain Rob, first mate, Kyle and service staff Reika and Loya for the cheerful welcome. Sara, the events coordinator, met us all at the boat to ensure everything was running smoothly and was very accommodating to the couple throughout the process. The buffet was plentiful and food was very good quality. The boat decor is very cute and comfortable... it's one of the smaller boats in the fleet and was the perfect size for an intimate ceremony and lunch reception. Washrooms were clean and easy to navigate. I'd highly recommend this experience for a unique and fun small celebration!
