please do yourselves a favour and run away from this photographer. Her prices may seem decent for what she shows on her website. However, dont expect her to deliver same quality of photos she has on her website. Actually, you can't even expect her to deliver photos on time. its taking almost 2 years to get photos that are badly edited. And A WHOLE LOT of hassling and headache to get the photos. Almost 2 years and gallery is not finished. she is impossible to contact and always lies about the deadline. Read other reviews...they're all past clients waiting for their photos for months on end!

Buyer Beware!!! If you work with Melissa, have a clear contract with deadlines and penalties for late service in it. Over a year after our wedding, we were still waiting to receive all of our photos. It was 10 months before our wedding photos were uploaded to her private website. Along the way, the communication has been terrible. Long waits to get an email response or text response. False promises that were not followed through on. Overall a very disappointing and frustrating experience for us. We do not wish this on anyone and can see that while most have a good experience with Melissa, there are some that have horrible experiences. Melissa has great photography skills and a genuine friendliness, however as a business owner, integrity of word and delivery of service is missing.

I would have to say 0 star. It's very clear now online if you take a look at any reviews on Google, etc, how much of an embarrassment this excuse of a photographer is. DO NOT HIRE MELISSA AVEY. She is a thieving, lying, unethical joke of a business "woman." She is incapable of responding to clients in a timely fashion yet has time to post photos on her social media. I have spoken with a number of people who unfortunately used her as their wedding photographer and it's just pathetic excuse after pathetic excuse she feeds her clients. She should not be allowed to promote herself as a wedding photographer and should be ashamed of what she has put numerous people through. She is a crook scam artist with no morals and only cares about getting your money. Hopefully anyone out there looking for a decent human to take their photographs will see all the negative reviews as a red flag. Didn't know it was possible to run a business like she has in such a manner and get away with it, it's crazy! People have been lied to so much...signing dated contracts with agreements to give refunds then not following through, lying about when she will give people their photos but then dropping off the face of the earth, providing people with crap photos they paid a great deal for, the list goes on and on, it's endless mind dumbing embarrassment. Always full of bulls**t excuses to boot. You've been warned by many brides and husbands to be!!!

That is it I have had enough after almost 2 years waiting our photos are still not finished. We paid $3000 for our wedding photos and up todate only 20 pictures were delivered and they arent even the useable ones... What a ripoff do not hire this scam artist. If she delivered not so good images or ok images It wouldve been ok but not to give us anything after 2 years is a complete SCAM!!!! everyone do not hire this CROOK!!! I REPEAT DO NOT HIRE THIS CROOK!!!!!!!!!
