Winter Garden Theatre is a small, but friendly theatre at the very top of the building, which is accessible by two or three old fashioned, small wooden elevators, or countless staircases. Each elevator was directed by an operator that rode with us. This gives the theatre some of its charm.
Such an impressive theatre, they've really tried to keep it true to its original design. The Winter garden theatre was the one I went into and found the decisions all around to be very cool. Unlike anything I've seen before. Can highly recommend going to see a play here
What a beautiful venue! Having never been before I didn't realize 2nd row wasn't the best idea if I wanted to avoid serious neck strain (from looking up the whole time). Get seats at least 5-6 rows back or upper seats in my opinion. Nice long intermission and snacks and drinks available. Very polite, warm and welcoming staff. Highly recommended.
I went here with my family, kids aged 6 and 8, along with both sets of their grandparents. We saw a panto, Lil Red Robin Hood, and it was highly entertaining for everyone. Very high production values, the sets and costumes were amazing, and the singing and dancing were, as expected, very well performed. The Winter Garden Theatre itself is whimsical, feeling as if you are in a forest. Highly recommended.
Saw Come From Away my second time. Loved it both times. The theater is so comfortable. I love this theater! The sound was so sharp and clear, I heard every word. Noticed great accessibility for everyone. Ushers so attentive settled everyone in like skillful masters!
