About
Applewood is the birthplace of James Shaver Woodsworth, who was an exemplary Member of Parliament and social reformer. This charming 1850s farm house was saved to preserve his legacy and is a fine example of early Canadian architecture.
Located in spacious Broadacres Park, this beautiful piece of 1850s history offers a cozy Victorian setting in which to exchange vows. Ideal for weddings up to 35- 40 people. During the warmer months, couples are invited to take pictures outside on the front porch with our beautiful gardens as a backdrop. Our fee is very reasonable and our staff is most helpful.
