Today’s couple planned a relaxed yet simply stunning celebration at the rustic Nassagaweya: The Retreat. Over a “wedding weekend,” Julian and Angela shared a casual dinner and dance with all of their guests on the night before their big day. The wedding itself included a gorgeous formal dinner and tons of romantic DIY details. All of the fun and romance was captured by Jono & Laynie Co.

After the couple exchanged their vows, they headed outside to celebrate with their guests in the middle of a rainstorm. Their happy smiles prove that they made the most of the unexpected weather.
The couple’s dazzling reception was also held at the retreat. Drawing inspiration from a delicate colour palette of natural tones, their rustic vintage-inspired affair was filled with handmade touches, like chalkboard table numbers and mason jar favours imprinted with the couple’s photo. Bright wildflowers along with a unique floral cake were delightful and sweet touches.
