We had a blast at Mississauga Convention Centre‘s 2016 bridal open house! Attendees were treated to delicious food, modern and romantic decor, and a light and fun atmosphere! The gorgeous reception decor was provided by Elegante Decor, who paired dramatic black drapery with tall florals and romantic candlelight.
The beautiful wedding cake, with cascading sugar flowers atop a glitzy gold sequin tablecloth was designed by Irresistible Cakes. We love the gold, black, and white contrast, and the mix of harvest and traditional round guest tables.
Our friends at DFD Event Solutions created a lovely customized dance floor wrap featuring the signature M of Mississauga Convention Centre.
The best part of any open house is always the food! MCC always manages to serve a plethora of food that satisfies the eye and the palette. Sunday was no exception, with a wide array of passed appetizers and delectable food stations. We love that one station featured an element from our 2016 catering trends – a charcuterie clipboard! Another favourite had to be the fresh and made-to-order filled donut station, complete with a Nutella filled option!
Another fan favourite – deep-fried oysters served with shots of spicy caesars! We enjoy seeing reimagined comfort foods like grilled cheese bites served with tomato bisque and panko-coated fish served with chips!
