Our corporate event at this venue was a huge success. The staff were professional, friendly, and efficient. The events coordinator was an absolute pleasure to work was and brought our vision to life. And, of course, the food and cocktails were amazing. Would recommend to anyone looking to host a corporate or social event.

Boehmer has got to be one of the best wedding venues in Toronto. It's gorgeous, the food is unreal, the staff felt like family and the entire experience was super easy on us, as the organizers. We got married there in January 2018 and we wanted an intimate and casual party, with good food, good drinks and great music, which Boehmer totally delivered. The space was gorgeous and the only decorating we did was a few flowers. We'd highly recommend using their stations and 'flights of food' for your dinner, which is a mixed of passed plates and a buffet. This works really well and allows guests to mingle, eating at their leisure, so people aren't stuck sitting down at one table for multiple hours. The food was unreal, everyone raved about it and people got more than their fill. Get their late night burger. The team was amazing to work with; Gordon, the GM was knowledgeable and friendly; Paola their wedding coordinator, is really accommodating and relaxed; and the whole team on the day of was professional, but so fun and really friendly. It felt like they really cared that we had a good time, and we did! We couldn't give Boehmer a better review, we had more fun than we ever thought imaginable and the event went off without a hitch. We're so grateful for the Boehmer team.

We got married at Boehmer in the fall. I have to say it was a great experience from beginning to end. We had about 100 guests, plus vendors (including a five piece live band), so I was concerned about space. They assured me it would work, and they were right. We chose to do the ceremony at the front of the restaurant as the sun was setting. The photos came out beautifully, the lighting was really soft and natural. About 1/3 of our guests were seated, with the rest standing behind the chairs. The staff was very respectful during the ceremony to keep their dinner prep noise to a minimum. In fact the staff was flat-out amazing throughout the entire event! Friendly and efficient, very impressive. Most of the operation is headed by Gordon, the manager, and Alanna, the event coordinator that the venue supplies. Full disclosure, Alanna was awesome, but has moved on to other things. However I'm sure whoever they've replaced her with is awesome as well. Responsive to emails and as concerned about details as we were! Gordon is a machine on the night... several of my guests went out of their way to rave about him to me. It was kind of funny actually, they were truly blown away. The guests also raved about the food, as they should. It was top notch. In terms of logistics, they allowed us to bring our decorations and other items in ahead of time, and allowed us to pick up our items a day or two after the wedding. They worked to accomodate our needs. They have the logistics down cold. The guests walk in and enjoy a signature cocktail or two that are being passed around. The bar doesn't open until after the ceremony. Chairs for the ceremony are already set up. There is a small private area at the back of the restaurant where the wedding party can make a home base, and walk up and down the aisle from. The ceremony happens, and then everyone moves towards the back of the restaurant while the staff puts dining tables where the ceremony was. At the back of the restaurant is an oyster bar. Bar is open and the band is playing a jazz set. Eventually everyone sits for dinner / speeches and as I mentioned, the food is amazing. Dietary restrictions are accommodated. We chose to have the vendors enjoy their meals in the "alcove" that juts out behind the head table, and they seemed perfectly happy back there. As soon as the dinner and the speeches are finished, the staff quickly removes the tables they added at the front, and that space becomes the dance floor. The front patio doors are opened up to their patio on the street so guests can enjoy some fresh air. And late at night, a table appears with some late night snacks to help soak up the booze. Additionally there is a lengthy tasting of the food and booze in advance, so you can finalize your menu. Gordon is incredibly knowledgeable in his wine selection. This is an enjoyable experience. And to top it off, they give you a complimentary dinner months after the fact as a thank you. My wife and I just recently enjoyed our meal and were reminded of how great the staff and the venue turned out to be for our wedding. I'd recommend Boehmer as a great option for anyone looking for a downtown wedding with top-notch ambiance, food, and staff.

Amazing food and people! Great for group events, they go out of their way to make it easy to build your entire evening. Gordon and Paola are so friendly and easy going, you can leave any party in their hands and be sure that it will be 100% awesome. They guided us through a tasting menu and wine selection and all evening long, all the guests were talking about how delicious everything was! Big shout out to both of them and the rest of the staff for making our party a huge success!
