My name is Jessica Laforet. I am glad that you're here! I have been photographing people for as long as I can remember. For over ten years, I have been taking portraits of amazing humans, documenting the most beautiful weddings as well as capturing events of all kinds. It has been my work, but it has always been part of who I am. What I love most about photography is connecting with people who I have often just met, and being able to capture their true selves. Witnessing your most meaningful moments and being a witness to them is not something I will ever take lightly.

When you choose me as your photographer, you are choosing someone who offers more than just coverage. You can expect clear communication and a thoughtful, hands-on experience from start to finish. I respond and answer questions quickly, and take the time to understand what matters most to you. From the first email to the final gallery, I want the process to feel easy and for you to feel supported.

On your wedding day, I will be a steady presence. I’ll remind you to pause, to breathe, and to take it all in. I’ll guide you when needed, step back when it matters, and photograph everything in a way that allows you to remember it exactly as it felt.

Do you only document full day weddings?

I book weddings ranging from 2 hours to 12 hours, depending on what you have planned. Most of my clients book between 4 to 8 hours of coverage, but I’ve photographed everything from short city hall ceremonies to full-day celebrations lasting 15 hours. Whatever your day looks like, we’ll find coverage that fits your needs

Are you insured?

Yes, I’m fully insured. If your venue requires proof of coverage, I’m happy to provide a certificate of insurance upon request

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes. A 30% retainer is required to secure your date, with the remaining balance typically due two weeks before your wedding. If you’d prefer to space out your payments, I’m happy to arrange a custom payment plan that works for you
