While I'm sure they may be a great cruise, This is my personal experience. Artist from the bad weather, service on the cruise was planned poorly. The staff were helpful but were asked to place single trays of food in the center of the boat. Which means everyone had to queue up only to realize the food is long over since there was so little of it. Bad weather also meant the deck was off limits. DJ was so so. Atmosphere was a bit dull since it's generally older folks. But we did manage to amp up the guests ourselves. Won't do it again.

Beautiful sunset Toronto water front. We at the show boat , a little bit old style but I like the bigger and flat window in dinning room where you can see the beautiful waterfront sunset no matter where you sit.Food is so so, service is friendly. Around 100 per person (ticket + buffet + drinks which need to pay on top)Music and dance on the deck really fun. Good for group night out, not for children.

The servers were very friendly and everything was punctual. The boat was spacious enough for the amount of guests onboard it never felt cramped. The food was OK at best but it's to be expected for a brunch meal. Tables were called sections at a time and by the time we went up, the buffet was a bit cold. The views were great and the route it took showcased a large part of Toronto and it's harbour/skyline. I think I'll go for an evening cruise next time. Great for a date or a minor special occasion.

this was possibly the worst experience we've ever had. We thought it would be a nice idea to try the Sunday brunch cruise as a family, for my birthday. We took advantage of a Groupon rate, and booked almost 2 months before the date booked. I suffer from chronic asthma, so I am very cautious when booking outdoor activities. this is why, before we purchased any tickets, I called to ask about temperature control on the boats. I was told that we would be sailing on the largest in the fleet, and that it is temperature controlled. I will stress.....This is the only reason I went ahead and booked the tickets. What a surprise when we turn up and find out that we are now on a run down and rather unappealing Showboat ship. the size of the dining room was no bigger than my living room. the tables were practically on top of each other. When someone finally came aground to ask for a drink order, I asked about air conditioning, only to be told that it was not available on this ship. I explained, immediately, that this was going to be a huge issue. and that this was not what we were told when we booked. as a side note, all the other tables were fanning themselves because of the temperature in the "dining room". the manager finally came over, apologized and tried his best to do what he could, and I do appreciate his effort. However, there wasn't much he could do on a ship with windows that don't open, and no refunds once you've booked. once we started moving, there was a slight breeze from the small open door, but definitely not enough to make the room bearable. we moved on to the meal, this was awful. the food was cold, and frozen product. the fresh pastries were store bought, and there really wasn't any type of regular breeze and butter options. the roast beef was only offered medium well or well done, which is ridiculous. We could have gone too a sausage cart and had a better meal. it was a challenge top get refills on water also. we finally gave up and went to the top level. We found a bit of relief, but the tables and chairs were wobbly from missing stoppers which keep them even. considering the price that you are charging for this was completely not with it. to be honest, if we were offered free tickets, we would turn them down. a totally awful experience.

Today I officiated my first wedding on a boat! What a treat it was to board the Mariposa Rosemary for a 3- hour wedding cruise through the Toronto Islands. Special thanks to Captain Rob, first mate, Kyle and service staff Reika and Loya for the cheerful welcome. Sara, the events coordinator, met us all at the boat to ensure everything was running smoothly and was very accommodating to the couple throughout the process. The buffet was plentiful and food was very good quality. The boat decor is very cute and comfortable... it's one of the smaller boats in the fleet and was the perfect size for an intimate ceremony and lunch reception. Washrooms were clean and easy to navigate. I'd highly recommend this experience for a unique and fun small celebration!
