They are very responsive and get back to you quickly , always within less than 24 hours. You can tell by talking to Nick that he has an enthusiasm and passion for florals. Despite what is mentioned above the reason for the one star review is that Nick is passionate about HIS vision for your wedding and florals. There was just overall a lack of listening from him when I was talking. I told him multiple times that I didn’t need centrepieces and yet the quote I was given included centrepieces and a number of other arrangements that I didn’t ask for / told him I did not want. He was set on me having an all white and ivory bridal bouquet and I said multiple times that I did not want that as a white bouquet against a white dress is just too much white for me and still he persisted. I just felt like he cared more about the promotion of doing our wedding by having pictures taken of the florals and less of what I actually wanted. Even my fiancé said when I got off the phone that Nick was very “no you don’t know what you want, I know what you want”

Nick at Opening Night Flowers is truly an amazing florist and character. He is extremely easy to work with and made me feel at total ease throughout the entire experience. Nick went above and beyond for my wedding and I will always be thankful for the beautiful arrangements I always dreamed of! I would highly recommend him, if you are looking for a look out of a magazine he is your guy!!

I am privileged to have the honour of working with Nicholas for our wedding. When searching for a florist I did not want the standard cookie cutter arrangements seen in the many weddings I have attended. Nicholas is a true artist with such incredible creativity as his floral arrangements are truly one of a kind. No two brides are the same and as evidenced by his work no two weddings will ever be the same. This is because he caters to your vision and your wedding theme and at the same time will offer his creative genius. My bouquet, floral arrangements and floral arch were something out of a fairy tale and Nicholas made it all possible. I highly recommend his service for any occasion!

Working with Nick to organize our flowers for our wedding day was amazing! He took the time to sit down with us multiple times to work on a vision. On our wedding day the arrangements at the church and venue exceeded our expectations. He went above and beyond to make sure every detail was considered. For example, he made our entrance way looked beautiful by adding falling vines down the staircase and he took time to spray paint the plastic grapes I had bought gold to add to the arrangements. He was quick to respond to emails and answer questions. He was also just so fun to work with, an amazing person. I would highly recommend him!

Nicholas at Opening Night Flowers is INCREDIBLE. From the moment I sent my first email asking for information I noticed how incredibly professional, friendly, and flexible he and his team are. We were planning our wedding from another province and he made it possible to meet with him on our schedule. I'm not a very creative person, and all he had to go on was a colour scheme that I liked and a general description of the look I wanted. In our meeting he instantly came up with a million fabulous ideas and showed me different flowers that I would never have thought of. I had total trust in him and he delivered! I even changed and added a few things closer to the wedding date and any time I asked for something, he took it, ran with it, and made it SO much better than I could have thought. He also found ways to cut costs while choosing different arrangements and flowers, which is always so greatly appreciated.

You can tell that he is super proud of his creations (as he should be!) and was there, the day of the wedding, setting up the floral arrangements and making sure everything was perfect. He even stayed AFTER the ceremony to move the florals that we used for the ceremony into the reception.

Everyone loved the flowers, and I couldn't stop looking at all the fabulous details, especially in my bouquet!

Opening Night Flowers will definitely be who I would recommend for fabulous, amazing, beautiful flower arrangements and AWESOME customer service and value.

I had the pleasure of working with Nicholas Smith last June when The Toronto Botanical Garden hosted a mass wedding in our Perennial Border outdoor space during Pride Week. Nicolas created and styled this floriferous ceremony and was challenged to bring the "WOW" factor to the event. He surpassed all of our expectations with his creativity. The floral décor was stunning. He brings an amazing combination of skills to all of his projects. A unique vision married with a complex understanding of the client's needs and the flexibility to ensure the event is visually spectacular. And he is a joy to work with! With creative and innovative design, quality product and pricing - he just does not disappoint.
