We engaged Host Fine Dining for catering for our daughters wedding. We had dined at the restaurant many times and also had their food at many friends events such as weddings. We spoke with Jay, Archana and Shelly as to what we wanted at the four events we were having. We had to cater for vegetarian, vegan and meat eaters. The event was also an outdoor garden event and so they needed to set up a kitchen and also bring a tandoor for all events. Archana and Shelly helped us with the menu and created some wonderful appetizers and main dishes according to what we wanted and with great suggestions that we had not even thought of. Then to complicate it all, due to thunderstorms expected on the date, we had to shift everything to the next day and with changes in the breakfast, lunch, and dinner schedule, all with only one days notice. All the crew from Host were amazing, Archana got to work rearranging everything working with Shelly and also Sidhu, the wonderful chef who ran the kitchen. Everything went very well, and the guests loved the food - the Mumbai street food as appetizers, the live food stations and full table service dinner. Jay had recommended we work with Zee of Empire Events for the wait staff and organising the tableware etc. we needed to order for the outdoor event, for which we are very thankful. We highly recommend Host Fine Indian Cuisine.

For our Wedding this Summer, Sami and I knew we were going to mainly serve Indian food, and because of that choice we knew there is only one possible option -- The Host. While both of us have dined at The Host many times, and many of those times were catered dinners, however, neither of us has had been involved with arranging a grand affair akin to a wedding. We didn't know what to expect from a tasting or a menu selection, yet we knew that food was one of the most important components for each of us. When we contacted Mrs. Archana Sethi, we had a good feeling of what we wanted in terms of the meat to veggie ratio, but not much else. We also have a few standard favourites, but knew we were willing to discuss and explore new ideas. She made the process so relaxing and heard in great detail what we wanted of this spread. As soon as we started discussing the meal and the dish styles for both our Ceremony and Reception, we immediately felt at ease. She made some super cool recommendations for our ceremony lunch, that we could hardly wait to try out. I for one, almost wanted to participate as a guest at my own wedding to get the full lunch experience! Haha! While we received so many compliments for the whole wedding, we received by far and wide the vast majority of compliments for the food. Namely, the interesting ensemble of Mumbai street food at our lunch, the various stations we had, as well as the fusion combinations of kale chaat papri on bamboo boats and manchurian cauliflower (that I sadly missed out on). I got to try my favourite Indian rice pudding and as always it was incredible, so flavourful, and comforting. We're so glad we went with The Host for the most important day of our lives!
