Nestled on 50 acres in the heart of the picturesque Caledon hills since the early 1800's, Cambium Farms has retained all of its original charm. Featuring an awe inspiring, authentic, century old barn, a fully restored Farm and Carriage House, Cambium Farms is perfect for any event, large or small.

The Barn

Built over a century ago, The Barn is a true architectural masterpiece. With a capacity of 230 people and outfitted with a country style bar, lounge area and DJ booth, The Barn will create a rustic-chic atmosphere that you and your guests will talk about for years to come.

The Byre

The Byre is a 5500 sq/ft intimate, elegant event space comprised of a white washed field stone foundation, exposed timber columns and beams in the lower level of our barn. Available for June 2019, with a capacity of 150 guests, The Byre will allow us to operate year round and give couples the opportunity to enjoy a completely different experience at the farm. This dynamic space can host ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and dancing.

The Terrace at The Barn

The Terrace at The Barn will add another 1000 sq/ft of outdoor event space to The Barn’s 4500 sq/ft space. The Terrace will be south facing, overlooking the pastures and fields of corn and wheat. This space will be used for intimate ceremonies, cocktail hour and a licensed outdoor space for the evening, where guests can gaze at the moon and stars while enjoying a cocktail.

The Carriage House

Built along side The Barn, The Carriage House was originally built to house horse-drawn carriages. With its beautifully landscaped surroundings and the addition of a bar and lighting, The Carriage House is now perfect for a post-ceremony cocktail hour, small wedding reception or dinner.

The Farmhouse

Built by William D Leflar and his wife Margaret in the early 1800's, the house has been home to generations of the Leflar and McKinney family. Since its purchase in 2006, minor renovations have been performed to update the farmhouse all while staying true to its heritage. Today, brides, bridesmaids and family are invited to use the main floor of The Farmhouse to prepare for their wedding ceremony on the property.

The BEST venue!

I cannot say enough good things about this venue. I got married there a month ago and I am still hearing from friends and family how beautiful the venue was, how nice the staff was, how organized it was and overall what a great time they had.

Cambium truly was the perfect space for us and made us feel welcomed from our first visit. Our wedding coordinator Sara was with us every step of the planning process and helped out so much the day of.

They have built a great network of trusted vendors who are also great to work with and really know the venue well.

No complaints, only praise!

We recently hosted a family wedding at Cambium Farms, and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect experience. Initially, we were drawn to Cambium Farms because of their fantastic vendors. We sort of worked backward, searching for the caterer we wanted and stumbled upon Cambium by a happy accident. And what a fantastic happy accident it turned out to be! From the moment we began planning, Sara, the coordinator, was an absolute gem to work with. Her professionalism, courtesy, and understanding of our vision made the entire process seamless and enjoyable. Sara was not only attentive but also readily available whenever we needed assistance or guidance.

Despite unexpected rain on the day of the wedding, Sara effortlessly transitioned our ceremony to the beautiful barn and our reception to the charming Byre. Her presence onsite ensured that everything ran smoothly, allowing us to relax and enjoy the day to the fullest.

Speaking of the venue itself, it's simply stunning. The rustic charm of Cambium Farms is unparalleled, providing a picturesque backdrop for any event. It's worth noting that the venue is wheelchair accessible, ensuring that all guests can fully enjoy the experience. Additionally, Cambium Farms has ample washrooms, each with its own toilet and sink, ensuring convenience for all guests. They also offer ample parking, which was a relief for our guests and made the entire experience hassle-free.

There are countless opportunities for beautiful photos throughout the venue and on their grounds, capturing every moment perfectly. Additionally, the patio off the Byre allows guests to step out and enjoy some fresh air when needed, adding a delightful touch to the overall experience.

Moreover, the cleanliness of the facilities, including the washrooms, was impeccable throughout the day.

Overall, we couldn't be more thrilled with our experience at Cambium Farms. Sara and her team went above and beyond to make our son's wedding day truly unforgettable. We wholeheartedly recommend Cambium Farms to anyone seeking a magical venue and exceptional service for their special event.

Cambium Farms was an absolute pleasure to work with throughout the entire wedding planning process. Our coordinator Sara did a fantastic job answering all of our questions and giving us as much information as we needed to help the day run smoothly. She was honest and transparent and I could really tell she listened to what we wanted for our special day. The venue was absolutely beautiful, and even though we got some rain and had to move things indoors, the process was seamless and everything turned out more perfect than I could ever imagine. Meagan also assisted with our rehearsal dinner and other events and was equally fantastic to work with - she effortlessly adjusted for a forgotten allergy (our mistake, not hers) and made sure everyone was taken care of. We got married here on Friday, October 13, 2023 - and had Colin and Meagan as our points of contact. From day one, the easy-going nature and friendly communications of the Cambium team members put us at ease. My husband and I would say we are quite down to earth, and we didn't worry for a moment about the capacity of the staff to do a wonderful job. The day was magical, and it went off without an issue. We didn't have to lift a finger and all the personal (whether it be Colin, the Cabrel Team, the bartending and DJ) made us feel special.

We wouldn't hesitate to return here for any event or recommend it to a future couple!
