With the warm weather finally here in full swing, what better time to start perusing all of the GTA’s most stunning outdoor wedding venues? I’m thinking sunny skies, warm weather, gorgeous scenery.. Absolutely perfect!

Are you considering hosting your big day outdoors? If so, rest assured, there are tons of gorgeous venues in Toronto with beautiful outdoor facilities. To help get the ball rolling, we rounded a healthy dose of popular wedding venues with outdoor amenities to help get things started! Malaparte

350 King St W, Toronto

Located on the sixth floor of the TIFF Bell Lightbox, Malaparte – Oliver & Bonacini’s breezy terrace is an urban oasis for outdoor wedding ceremonies and receptions. The gorgeous outdoor space is tent-protected, so no amount of inclement weather can ruin your special day! On top of that, the rooftop provides breathtaking cityscape views and an amphitheatre reminiscent of the roof of Villa Malaparte in Capri, where Jean-Luc Godard filmed Le Mépris. So cool!


Berkeley Fieldhouse

315 Queen St E, Toronto

The ever popular Berkeley Church & Field House is home to a whimsical, urban space that’s perfect for a rustic outdoor wedding ceremony in the city. The garden patio is covered by a canopy tent (which will keep you dry in case of rain) and is situated alongside a creek that runs serenely through the garden. Fun fact: Taddle Creek is an original waterway dating all the way back to the 19th century! The gardens also have a two-story “adult” tree-house, perfect for photos… or just to hang out in!


Hart House

7 Hart House Cir, Toronto

In the center of the historic Hart House, there is a completely private and enclosed courtyard. The Quad is enclosed on four sides and open to the skies which makes for a truly unique oasis in Downtown Toronto. The beautiful garden has a tented patio, large bronze sculptures, and a centered flagstone aisle. Added bonus: The garden’s spectacular castle-like feel will make every bride feel like a princess!


Royal Ambassador Event Centre

The breathtaking scenery at the Royal Ambassador Event Centre is completely revitalized with each season. Whether you’re surrounded by spectacular coloured leaves during the fall or the gorgeous blooming flowers in the summer, the picturesque backdrop is a stunning setting for an outdoor ceremony! Another plus: the snow-covered trees serve as an enchanting backdrop for gorgeous outdoor photos in the winter time too!


The Arlington Estate

8934 Huntington Rd., Kleinburg

The brand new Arlington Estate is slated for completion May 2017 – just in time for next year’s wedding season! Situated on a 7-acre private compound (that includes a 1.5 acre pond), the new, luxurious estate will include outdoor ceremony gardens and stunning walking paths! Added bonus: The estate will also include a private helicopter pad. Y’ know, just in case you wanted to make a low-key entrance.


Miller Lash House

If you’re looking to have your outdoor wedding in Toronto, but far enough outside the city to escape all of the hustle and bustle, then the historic Miller Lash House might just be exactly what you are looking for! Situated in idyllic seclusion, the romantic venue boasts beautiful architecture, luscious gardens, and undeniable ambiance to create a stunning backdrop for your ceremony and reception.


Cambium Farms

With several different unique spaces to choose from at Alton Mill Arts Centre, you’re sure to find the perfect, romantic outdoor space for your wedding. Some added flexibility is always appreciated: all outdoor ceremony packages include the use of an indoor space in case of inclement weather and/or for a post-ceremony stand-up reception.


Markham Museum

Situated on 25-acres of gorgeous natural surroundings, Markham Museum’s picturesque backdrop will certainly not disappoint! The property features over 30 different historic buildings across the grounds, so there’s certainly no shortage of photo-ops! The tranquil grounds will make you feel as though you’re hours from the city but without the “cottage schlep” up the 400.


The Pavilion at The Estates of Sunnybrook

The Pavilion at the Estates of Sunnybrook is nestled in the wooded acres behind Sunnybrook Hospital. It’s not easy to find an outdoor venue that has space for a large number of guests, so if you’re planning a great big outdoor wedding, this is the perfect place to have it! Added bonus: The stunning grounds are surrounded by expansive greenery and forestry, leaving you with photos that are nothing short of amazing.


The Pavilion at Evergreen Brick Works

550 Bayview Avenue, Toronto

The gorgeous Pavilion at Evergreen Brick Works is a covered outdoor space that’s great for hosting wedding ceremonies and receptions. The stunning, natural backdrop makes it feel as though you are completely outdoors but you have the benefit of the roof to protect you and your guests from the rain in case the weather chooses not to cooperate! Another plus: Just through the gateway at the north end of the pavilion there is a breathtaking view of the parkland! You’ll want to take advantage of this during picture time!


Golf & Country Clubs

Golf & Country Clubs are definitely a popular choice for a picture-perfect outdoor wedding. And why not? With acres upon acres of gorgeous trails and scenery “built in”, a golf club can be a beautiful and peaceful setting for a romantic wedding! Bonus: Are either of your golfers? Calm the nerves with a few holes before you say your “I do’s”. Who am I kidding? Golf doesn’t calm anyone’s nerves!


Liberty Grand Entertainment Complex

Right in the center of Liberty Grand Entertainment Complex, there is a gorgeous open air courtyard, perfect for outdoor ceremonies and cocktail receptions in the summer months. The romantic space can hold up to 400 people – not bad for an enclosed outdoor space!


Heintzman House

The Heintzman House has such an incredible history dating all the way back to the 1700s! Since it was built (sometime between 1797 and 1802), the property has been well maintained, lovingly cared for, and now plays host to lots of weddings & events through the year. The picturesque gardens at this historic venue will take you back to a much simpler time. On top of that, you’ll be sure to end up with truly unique photos!


Palais Royale

Who says you have to go up North for a wedding by the water? Located along the beautiful Lakeshore, Palais Royale is the perfect spot for a lake-side wedding right here in Toronto.
The patio, overlooking Lake Ontario, is great for intimate, romantic wedding ceremonies in the summer and fall months. Added bonus: Watching the sun set along the lake-front is a sight not be missed and acts as a gorgeous romantic backdrop. You’ll definitely want to snag a photo or two!


McMichael Canadian Art Collection

Set amid 100 acres of natural wooded landscape, The McMichael Canadian Art Collection has beautiful scenery for a romantic, intimate outdoor wedding. The grounds provide a truly tranquil setting with beautiful walking trails and a sculpture garden. Added bonus: there is a spot known as “The Wedding Hill” overlooking the Humber River Valley – perfect for pretty wedding photos!


Glenerin Inn and Spa

Overlooking the Sawmill Valley Trail and Creek, The Glenerin Inn & Spa is a unique getaway spot located just outside the busy city. Their outdoor space is the perfect urban oasis for an intimate ceremony – and completely private!
