The atmosphere at Fermanagh farms is one like no other. It was peaceful, serene and the surroundings were impeccable. Thom and his team are every person's dream team when planning an event. They went over and above the call of duty.I would like to take this opportunity to thank you Thom and your team for making our event so special. It was so beautiful!
We hosted our Engagement Celebration Party at Fermanagh Farms. This venue was totally our style with the old barn rustic look. I have to say that our experience was exceptional from start to finish. Our guests are STILL talking about their evening and how beautiful the venue was. In addition, the owners of the venue were absolutely fantastic! From the initial communication point, to booking, to planning, to the put up and take down they were unbelievably wonderful. We can’t thank you enough for everything. It’s hard to find good people these days, but boy this barn simply had it all. Thank you to everyone who came to celebrate us!
Great Venue and Owners! Me and my fiancee had our engagement in November. The barn has a great rustic feel to it as well as being very spacious (we fit over 100 people seated at tables). There is a separate hallway space for food which made it so our buffet would not take away for the look of the barn. Thom was very understanding and happy to assist in any way possible to make our event happen. He is very accommodating and was excited for us and our event. I definitely recommend using this location! The outdoor area around the barn is also amazing! (We just did not get a chance to use it since it was cold).
From the day we met Thom and saw Fermanagh Farms in person, we knew that our search was over for our -mostly- DIY October 2019 wedding. Everything that we could have asked for in a location was available: the choice from multiple beautiful outdoor ceremony locations, a sizeable rustic indoor reception area (barn), on-site accommodations for ourselves and the wedding party, and gorgeous backdrops for a plethora of spectacular wedding photos. But anyone who's ever been married knows that there's a lot more work that goes into a wedding than just sourcing an ideal venue... and that's where Thom and everyone at Fermanagh Farms really shone. While we had decided early on that we wanted to do as much DIY as possible, we truly felt like we were never on our own. We were allowed multiple on-site visits before the day, and Thom was there every step of the way to help ensure that how we wanted things to go is how they went. He even arranged for an early drop off of our event rentals before we arrived to the venue, and held onto the pieces for pickup long after we were gone. During one of our early visits, we had mentioned that we were not using a DJ but instead going to run one of our phones though Spotify. There was an issue with one of phone jacks, so when leaving we mentioned we'd need to get an adaptor of sorts. When we visited again a few weeks later (the week before the wedding), there was a new iPad installed beside their sound system for exactly that purpose. It could have been coincidence, sure... but it really felt like this was one of many examples of high-quality service and attention to detail. Thom and Lisa were present throughout the entire wedding day to help clean, organize, and tear down afterward. This wasn't something we had asked for nor did we expect, it was just icing on the cake. Such a weight lifted off of our shoulders on a day where we really needed it! Both the cabin and bridal suite were spotless, and were perfect rooms within walking distance of the barn to lay our heads after the festivities. There were also fire pits and campsites which we took great advantage of after the party died down. In short, If you're looking for a rustic wedding venue with outdoor options and homey, world-class service, then look no further!
The unicorn of the wedding venue. We always wanted to do a barn wedding, but all the barns we saw weren't suitable for an October wedding (the iffy Canadian weather). This venue has it all! Thom was very friendly and helpful throughout the process and made wedding planning stress free!
