About

The Michael Vieira Band has been providing the finest dance bands, cocktail/dinner music, and event production services to Toronto and the GTA for over 30 years. We specialize in live music for weddings, corporate events, parties, and special occasions of any size and type.

The band combines the energy of live musicianship with modern music technology to deliver "true to the original" performances of the most requested dance music from all eras. Our repertoire mixes songs from the Big Band era of Glen Miller and Frank Sinatra, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Disco, R'n'B, The Tragically Hip, to the hottest top 40's pop tunes by artists such as Bruno Mars, Rihanna, Katy Perry, Pitbull, The Weekend, Pharell Williams and Camila Cabello to name a few.

We offer groups ranging from ceremony soloists and small groups, to jazz groups for cocktails/dinner and receptions, to our high energy dance bands. We also offer complete entertainment packages which include reception music, background dinner music, and dance bands.

We were lucky enough to have the Michael Vieira Band perform for us at our Client Golf Tournament afterparty last summer for VR Mechanical. It was an outdoor venue, and the band did not disappoint! All guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves and the band and song selections were a huge hit! Mike's band was fantastic. They performed for 2 hours at our barn party with a 4-piece band. The musicians and the vocalist were top-drawer and Mike was great to work with. I would highly recommend them.

The Michael Viera Band brought the house down! We had a big pool party with 150 people. The band was professional, fun, and sounded amazing! Everyone danced ALL NIGHT LONG! It was a blast. The sound engineer visited our backyard a month before and hooked up a very sophisticated sound system. We were very impressed and so were our guests. I highly recommend The Michael Viera band if you want your guest to have a great time!

The Michael Vieira Band was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day. Our 1st and 2nd wedding dates were re scheduled due to the pandemic, but Michael was very accommodating and understanding and ensured we had the sound we wanted when we were finally able to have our wedding in 2022. The entire band was awesome! They played all of our requests and even allowed my father and I to do a few songs of our own. Michael made sure that our first dance was perfect! He arranged and learned the song per our request. For any event, not just a wedding, we would hire The Michael Vieira Band again in a heart beat.
