Working with Creative Director Alan Shiner was an absolute pleasure. His knowledge and professionalism were invaluable with all the planning and organization of the event. DJ Luis skillfully and masterfully kept up the energy with the music selection, reading the room and keeping the crowd happy and on the dance floor. We have worked with Alan and Nova Sounds for a number of years to put on an annual travel industry awards Gala in Toronto. We've held the event at many different venues, including The Carlu, Arcadian Court, and Eglinton Grand, among others. They have always been able to work with the different venues to offer a great experience to our guests. The 10-piece Nova Sounds Band does an excellent job to elevate our award show & dinner performances. We have also used trios and quartets for our Cocktail Receptions. They not only perform, but also have helped with our sound systems, sound engineering, and provide assistance with music planning and consulting. Alan and the band are always professional and provide top-notch entertainment each year. We're glad to be working with them and would recommend their services.

I had a great experience using Nova Sounds Entertainment for a car dealership grand re-opening in North York! From start to finish, their team went above and beyond to ensure our event was a resounding success. Alan brought his team over for the site-visit and were very thorough.

Recently Nova Sounds did one of their infrequent public gigs. Based on hiring from Nova Sounds in the past I knew the entertainment would be top drawer, I attended and lurked at a high top near the bar to enjoy the show with a bit of obscurity. Every musician on the stage was exemplary. The mood was up and that led to people being up on the dance floor. Drums and flats seems a popular spot with a regular crowd and I saw regulars tapping and popping. I'll say the wings were great too. I had a mix of drums and flats, it seemed just sort of "right". A good evening. Thank you Nova Sounds and Alan Shiner.
