The ROM has some great exhibits for people of all ages to see. It is not a huge museum, but the exhibits are very clean and organized well. They have options for guided tours and the tour guides are very knowledgeable. The biodiversity hall is great for those that are interested in science. The ancient Egypt exhibit is also one of the top highlights. Plus, lots of dinosaurs and real fossils to examine.

A vast variety of cultural objects spread over 3 floors from every part of the world. Chinese & Japanese to European and everything in between. The dinosaur exhibition is fantastic as well. The nature hands-on section is perfect for children. It is recommended getting there early as it can get busier later in the day, plus it can take several hours if you decide to take your time.

Whenever my wife and I visit Toronto, we make it a point to visit the ROM which we consider a world class museum. The buildings architecture is amazingly beautiful and a Toronto landmark. The staff is very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about each exhibit. This makes learning so much fun. The last time we were there on September 1, 2018 we went to a presentation featuring spiders with a fascinating Golden Spider Silk Cape being displayed. WOW. This is a must stop for any visitor or resident of Toronto.

If you want to enrich you knowledge of history this is the place. I advise you save at least three hours to go through all the exhibits. Theres an immense variety of them. If you come with kids (like us) you will need a good four hours or more. Going though the dinosaurs exhibit and Egypt, where you can see real mummies, is a fantastic experience. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who lives in or is visiting Toronto.

This place blew me away with the quantity and quality of cool stuff to look at. It's definitely worth the visit. You will see incredible stuff from awesome cultures all over the globe. Nice museum. Clean. The extra exhibits were worth seeing (Dutch Masters + Indian Kings) good access for wheelchairs/prams etc. Lots of cool objects, items, skeletons etc. Things are well sign posted. Could maybe do with a few more seating areas. Would recommend. Fun museum for all ages. The collection of Chinese, Korean and Japanese artifacts is especially good.
