We had the pleasure of working with Sonia for our October 2018 wedding. I don't think we could have asked for a better event planner or company to handle our wedding. We started working with Sonia in July 2017 - throughout the process, she was always supportive, willing to offer advice, while respecting our opinions and wishes. Not only was she exceptionally organized and good at keeping us ahead (!!) of schedule, she was friendly and kind and always made us feel well supported in our decision-making. She offered candid advice, but never pushed us on ideas we weren't comfortable with. She always presented us with vendors that were within our budget and truly, with the services we received, we feel like we got the best vendors we possibly could! With any event planner, the real test is always the execution of the event itself - ours was AMAZING. She ensured everything went smoothly and error free, especially on ceremony day (we even got to eat!). She helped bring our vision of a perfect wedding day to life. For our reception, we still have people (even about two months later) telling us how great our reception was - everything was well-timed and our vendors were high-quality. We were completely stress-free (so much so, that we were actually a little stressed about how little work we ourselves had done for our event). Sonia and her team managed everything with tact and professionalism, and we didn't even realize if minor issues had occurred (Sonia had asked one of our vendors to leave after less than optimal service, and it was handled so promptly that no one realized there was ever a problem until after the issue was dealt with). What I found comforting, was that any vendor we spoke to (even vendors that she had not gotten us quotes for), had a very high impression for her - I constantly heard "you have the best in the business". It's one thing to hear it from the vendors your event planner provides, totally another to hear it from other vendors. The true test? My mother-in-law, who was skeptical about us hiring a wedding planner, has now changed her mind :) she was super impressed by the way our wedding and reception went. Truly, I am grateful for Sonia's help and effort in how she executed our vision and made this (as cheesy as it sounds), our dream wedding. I don't think I could have asked for anything more perfect, and Sonia had a big role in achieving that. Thank you, Sonia and the Dashing Dulhan team!
