From start to finish, our experience with the Grand Luxe was top notch. Lina was a pleasure to work with to figure out all of the details for our event - the menu, the set up of the venue, etc - her professionalism and commitment to client service excellence shone through in every interaction. We were so impressed by the flexibility of the venue space and the ability to use the spaces outside of the large ballroom, including the ability to move around the furniture/seating to best suit our needs. And the furnishings themselves are in excellent condition and really suit the venue space - very "Luxe"! We were spoiled for choice with the Grand Luxe's menu offerings - not only do they have a wide range of pre-set menus that cover a wide range of cuisines, they also have a ton of a la carte options/add ons available to make your event just right for you!
After 5 years of having our fundraising event at the Grand Luxe, this is long overdue. I have always meant to comment every year, and should have, but its never too late. Last Thursday we held our 5th Annual Reaching for the Stars, a fundraiser that supports children in need. Grand Luxe has not only been a great partner, but they are family. They have always approached our event, like it was their very own, putting their best foot forward. For years now, I have seen the smiles of the same staff (hardly much turnover, which says a lot), the focus of executing a great experience for our guests and the talents behind the scenes, the Chef and kitchen staff. I can't say enough of how grateful we are to the people at the Grand Luxe - you are the quiet champions, the ones who make a great event look seamless. Love you guys for all the support you've given us and you do it with class and a smile. There is no other place we would rather have our event. Grand Luxe is our home!
I booked My Wedding for September 2019 . Unprofessional staff , will pick and choose when to respond to you whenever it is only convenient for them. Director is unprofessional and can't keep his word . I reduced my guest count guarantee as we are a small family . When I shared my feedback about poor service and communication. Director (who is always late ) decided to cancel my booking after it was confirmed and fabricated an excuse that I am criticizing their organization and their price structure . iI am actually relieved that I won't have to deal with them , And I wouldn't wish it for anyone.
We had our wedding reception at the GL in August of 2018 - it was a fantastic venue! The food (we had Indian) was AMAZING, and everyone loved it! Krystal was our coordinator and was super helpful and wonderful. Markos, Demo, the rest of the crew - even the folks who helped set up and tear down our tables were fantastic. The dance floor is huge, the space is gorgeous, and they made it so easy for us. The chef was super attentive and made changes based on what we asked - it was great. Good people, great hearts, beautiful venue. We are so grateful!
We had our wedding here in July 2018, and it was the best decision we have made towards planning our wedding. The venue is located in a very convenient area (Bayview and Finch) with a large parking lot... Very accessible from all parts of town as it is 5 mins away from the 401. From the very start, the Grand Luxe team have been exceptional in preparing and planning this special day with us. We had a tasting (which was included in the costs), which we were able to sit with the chef, who tailored every aspect of every dish towards our liking (we were very impressed and all the food was beyond our expectations. My husband and I are big foodies, and we were so glad we went with their in house catering company, everything was sooo delicious and restaurant quality). They served us exactly what they served our guests on the night of, quality, quantity and all. Jessica, our coordinator, was so easy to work with, always helping the best that she could, and very honest and genuine. She always replied emails on time, and she did her best to accommodate all our preferences as well as giving us tips and advice along the way. During the wedding night, everything went perfectly. Staff were extremely attentive to all guests, customer service was exceptional. All guests were so impressed at the service..(the waiting staff knew guests names and food restrictions/allergies)...It felt very personal and well-organized. The staff also ensured our bridal party sitting at the head table was comfortable, and always checked up on us, asking if they could get us a drink, or anything. If you are looking for a venue to deliver EXCEPTIONAL customer service, does not penny pinch, focuses on the details and the guests overall experience, very accommodating, and EXCELLENT food, i would strongly suggest you go with this venue and you will not be disappointed. I admit, I am a picky person, and I can easily say that this venue outdid everything.... my husband and I had the best night of our lives. It was truly unforgettable.
