Extremely disappointed with Elena and her assistant coordinators.

My wife and I had decided to use them for month of coordination. We barely heard from Elena until two weeks before the wedding, and luckily my wife had planned every detail.

Firstly, her assistant, Glenda, saw my wife’s dress getting caught and threads coming apart and was just standing there staring while our content creator had to come and take care of it. This is not a content creators job.

My wife had spent countless hours creating detailed books and folders that went over every detail leaving no room for error - yet the coordination was sloppy. During the ceremony, Elena and her team were unorganized and hadn’t reviewed the updated groupings of who was walking down the aisle. Should we not have known every last detail, it would have been incorrect. The assistant coordinators allowed guests to be seated during the ceremony whilst the parents of the bride were walking out. The Groom was sent down the aisle 30 seconds before his cue to enter the aisle and had to wait in the rain once he realized the music and timing was off for his entrance.

During the reception there was a lack of presence in the room and notifying the MC when he should go up to introduce the speeches. Good thing we knew every last detail to our wedding plan and were able to coordinate this ourself.

Overall, the coordination was sloppy. Hopefully, Elena and her team will take these things into consideration and be more attentive to the details.

Where do I begin with how wonderful Elena was as a wedding planner? When my husband and I got engaged I knew I needed someone to help me plan our event that was organized, professional and understood my vision. I met with several planners but felt an instant connection with Elena. We went with the full planning package and I could not be happier. Elena ensured every detail was meticulously recorded and executed. I know she had several challenges especially dealing with other vendors but she always remained calm and ensured that my requests were the first priority. Thank you Elena for your professionalism, kind hearted nature and attention to detail. You made the entire wedding planning process so much easier and I truly could not have done it without you. Julian and I cannot sing your praises enough, if you are considering a wedding planner - DO IT! But if you want the best in the business, our recommendation is Events by Elena!

Elena was the day-of coordinator for my wedding and she also was for my sister's wedding just two months prior. Working and having Elena and her assistant on the day of was a huge relief to me and my family. She took care of everything for us so that we could relax and enjoy the day. Not to mention she helped me big time with the coordination of getting my favours to the venue. She is organized and a really great person to work with. I met with Elena about 5 months before the wedding and we just vibed really well and to me that was 100% needed for my special day! 3 weeks before the wedding, I knew all the coordination of all the little details was coming and Elena stepped in and helped relieve all that stress from me. After 6 months of planning, this was the busiest time and she was my saving grace. Asked all the right questions, managed vendors, was available when I needed her and she made sure she saw my vision and brought it to life the day of and I didn't have to worry at all :) thank you so much Elena! it was such a beautiful day, I didn't worry one bit or sweat any details and I actually got to enjoy the whirlwind of a day xo

We found Elena 2 months before our intended wedding date and she was a godsend! We cant emphasize enough how we couldnt have done with out her. We had a very unique wedding with a very short deadline. We had a 50 person backyard garden wedding and Elena helped us booked the many details of our wedding including the caterers, cake, flowers, the tent, the DJ, the harpist and the officiant... everything! She answered all of our questions promptly and informatively, every time we had an issue she was able address it and she was very thoughtful in her work - for example she brought an extra cake stand because she was concerned we didnt have one on the wedding day. She made our special day come to life. Our friends and family were very impressed, and thought we spent a lot more than we did. We cant thank her enough!!!
