My mission is to bring the joy back into wedding planning. Too often I hear couples dreading having a wedding because of all the stress that comes with it. I’m here to tell you, it doesn’t have to be that way - you can have your cake and eat it too! Heather Smith Events helps couples craft unique wedding experiences that reflect their love story in a personal and sentimental way. My passion is finding unique and creative ways of brining themes to life. I understand first-hand the complexity that comes with having a marriage between two people from different cultures and backgrounds. However, I've also seen how beautiful it can be to blend themes and traditions to create a wedding that is personal to the couple. After planning my own Hindu Wedding, modern fushion weddings have a special place in my heart and I'd love to help you plan the wedding of your dreams!

Working with Heather was amazing. I can’t speak highly enough about my experience.

Heather reassured me throughout the entire process that she would bring my vision to life. She was patient, understanding, and very sweet.

I wanted a large statement piece that was unique, but couldn’t quite find an exact inspiration picture. Heather created several mockup photos with different variations and pricing. She even suggested beautiful additions such as lighting. I’m so happy she suggested that because it was something that my guests could not stop talking about.

The seating chart was the most complimented decor piece of the night. I’d recommend her any day!

Heather was true delight to work with. She is passionate, creative, thoughtful and was always considerate of our times as busy parents. She was collaborative and really took our vision and brought it to life while putting her own touch on it. As someone who is very particular about every little detail, I was able to work closely with Heather through the process and she made it fun doing so. She went above and beyond in create a beautiful backdrop, welcome sign, and other decorative touches for our celebration. Working with Heather and her team allowed my husband and I to truly enjoy the party with our baby boy.

It was such a pleasure working with Heather and her Team. She meticulously designed and built a 11ft statement seating chart for my client. Not only was she fast at communicating but she was also flexible and was able to adapt the design to fit the overall decor of the room and venue. On the day of the event her team was prompt to arrive and setup. She did an outstanding job and I cannot recommend her fast enough for custom decor that is unique and chic.

Heather was absolutely amazing from beginning to end! She was so easy to work with and truly made the wedding planning experience completely painless for me. She did so much from our menus, welcome sign, seating chart, and other detail items to tearing down/cleaning up the ceremony space, building/moving the arch and decor and so much more.

I am being 100% honest when I say I did not have to worry about a single thing the day of, or much for the month before my wedding thanks to Heather. She was quick to respond and always so helpful, either taking the task from me to do or giving me suggestions for things I asked.

My bridal party and guests praised her and one even wished she had her for her wedding a few months prior. I can't say enough good things about Heather and her amazing team, I highly recommend them for your wedding!

Her attention to detail and quality was evident in her support of our April 2024 wedding, from creating a beautiful escort card stand, to helping set up our chapel with all of the decor.
