At first we were responsible for all vendor communications and signing contracts, though Zerlene gave us guidelines to follow in terms of what questions to ask and what to look out for in our contracts. For the month leading up to the wedding, Zerlene took over vendor communications for all the final details and would send us summary emails with decisions we still needed to make, outstanding invoices, and other important details.
On the day of, she and her assistant Carmen set up a beautiful ceremony space for us, despite the last minute pivot to an indoor ceremony that we had to do because of the weather. She did amazing work with what we gave her to make the space perfect for us, even though it wasn’t what we had originally envisioned.
On the day of, I had a moment before the ceremony where I was really not feeling well and had a hard time communicating. She immediately identified it as low blood sugar and organized for someone to get me food and fruit juice. She remained calm and made sure that I was taken care of. During this time she also ran a quick rehearsal with our parents, wedding party, and officiant to make sure that everyone knew where they were going and what they were doing during the ceremony. With her organization and care, I recovered quickly and the ceremony ran very smoothly.
Her work at the reception was also really great. My husband and I were able to sit back and enjoy our dinners, the speeches, and the games without a hitch. She consulted with us as needed, but ultimately she took care of everything and made sure that we could enjoy our night. Before leaving, she made sure that our card box and gifts were packed up in a safe spot. That we don’t know the full extent of her efforts speaks volumes to the quality of her work and the service she provided us, for which we are grateful.

We were pleasantly surprised by the exceptional value for our money that we received from Zerlene's services, as we opted for a more extensive package that enlisted her services from the outset of our planning, just after getting engaged. She was consistently warm, kind, organized, reassuring, and professional - truly everything you could be looking for in this area of expertise.
We are all well aware of how stressful wedding planning can be, and I can say beyond a doubt that hiring Zerlene was the easiest choice we made in terms of ensuring that the process would be as stress-free as possible. She was always responsive, provided plenty of options for various vendors (being mindful of our budget, of course), and perhaps most importantly, ensured that our wedding day itself went as smoothly as possible.

Leading up to the wedding, Impresario asked excellent, detailed questions so that they fully understood the event. I loved that they got in touch with all of my vendors the week before the wedding and had thoughtful conversations with each one to ensure that everyone was on the same page. Zoya was our lead coordinator on the day of our wedding. Right from the ceremony rehearsal, Zoya's calm and decisive demeanour made me feel confident going into the day ahead. On the day of the wedding, I didn't think twice about the decor, meal, or timeline - I could see Zoya rocking and moving behind the scenes, always two steps ahead of the guests. Her professionalism, personality, transparency, responsiveness, and overall approach to planning are truly unmatched. Wedding planning was incredibly overwhelming for us, especially since we knew almost nothing going into it, and decision fatigue was very real. Zerlene’s insight, honesty, transparency, knowledge, experience, and decisiveness were exactly what we needed. She has this directness in a playful way that we appreciated that honestly kept us well informed and sane throughout the process.
What we appreciated most was that she never dismissed our vision or ideas, even when they may have sounded unrealistic and/or all over the place. Somehow, she always worked her magic and found a way to make things happen while still guiding us realistically and professionally.
She treats you like an actual human, not just another client. She was so understanding of different cultures, emotions, language barriers, time zones, family dynamics… all the moving parts that come with planning a wedding. Her rapport and communication made us feel so supported every step of the way, and she was always incredibly responsive whenever we needed her.
She’s also amazing at working with any vendors you throw into the mix. No matter the personalities, styles, or moving parts involved, she collaborates seamlessly and makes everything feel cohesive and under control.
On the wedding day itself, we barely had to worry about anything because Zerlene already had everything handled, often even the things we as a couple completely overlooked. She was always several steps ahead.
She is truly wonderful to work with, goes above and beyond in every aspect, and delivers so much value for what she charges. Don’t sleep on her!! She is incredible!!! Just go with her already, we are speaking from experience here!!
